Recap: Packers Beat Bears & the Eddie Lacy Conundrum

The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears — no, they handled the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. Of course, that’s just what they were supposed to do.

The Packers were supposed to handle a very depleted Bears team. They continued their pattern of beating up on bad teams to move to 4-2.

We’re going to tell you why we are none too excited about this win. We’ll tell you about the heroes and zeros. We’ll disagree about some stuff. We’ll start yelling about some other stuff…

Actually, I will start yelling about some other stuff. That stuff is how the Packers ham fisted the Eddie Lacy situation. In the process, they not only screwed themselves, but they completely screwed Lacy.

Is it an issue of toeing the line for Lacy? Might have been, but I find that laughable considering neither Mike McCarthy or Aaron Rodgers are accountable for anything. I’ll argue that the culture is part of the problem. I’ll argue that the Packers’ hierarchy failed Lacy. I’ll argue that Lacy was the Packers’ best offensive player regardless of his wide ass. And I will argue that production is all that matters.

Because what are we here for?

We’ll also discuss the very real possibility that Eddie Lacy has played his last down for the Green Bay Packers.

Look, these other games suck. Listen to some Packers shit!
