Packers’ Comeback, the Hated Vikings & More
The Green Bay Packers authored a huge comeback win over the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. In the process, they staked their claim as the class of the NFC.
The Cowboys were once thought to be that. An offensive line that isn’t as good as expected and a porous secondary has hurt them. They’re now under .500 at 2-3.
Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers just may be rewriting the narrative. He’s never been known as a great comeback quarterback. That may be partially Mike McCarthy’s fault. However, Rodgers has authored two fourth-quarterback comebacks already this year.
Rodgers did have quite a bit of help, starting with rookie running back Aaron Jones. The kid has something that Ty Montgomery doesn’t. We’ll tell you what it is and if there’s a controversy brewing.
The Packers may find an interesting way to take care of that themselves.
We couldn’t not discuss the importance of Blake Martinez, Damarious Randall, Kevin King, Martellus Bennett and Davante Adams, either.
Plus, Shawn has figured out why so many guys get injured in Green Bay, but then manage to stay healthy elsewhere. You’ll want to hear him get to the bottom of this ongoing problem.
But it’s on to the big, bad Minnesota Vikings. They’ve got some issues at quarterback, but remain stout on defense. The talent on that side of the ball is unmistakable.
The questions here are can they score and will the Packers play down to their level?
It’s all right here. Go ahead and find out!
