Packers Back on Winning Track & the Road to the Playoffs

Holy cow! It’s been so long since the Green Bay Packers have won a game that we forgot what it felt like.

This week’s edition of the Total Packers podcast features the full review of the Packers’ win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Packers’ defense looked like it did it with smoke and mirrors, but they actually did something really smart at just the right time. Although they’re still banged up, the defense is starting to get healthy, which bodes well for the Packers moving forward.

Offensively, the Packers came through with a great game plan. Well, except for one aspect…

Aaron Rodgers has rebounded with a fury from his early-season malaise. Davante Adams has attained a new distinction, which we’ll tell you about. Unfortunately, there’s one guy in the starting lineup that just needs to go. We’ll tell you who, why and what the Packers should be doing instead.

We’ve also got some bad news to discuss this week, too. Mike Pennel… you bad, bad boy. Pennel has some problems and now he’s suing the NFL. What does Pennel’s impending absence mean for the Packers? We’ll tell you.

Most importantly, the win gives the Packers a clear path to the playoffs. We’ll run it down, along with what we expect to transpire. The real question is, if the Packers scrape in is that good enough? The answer is no and you might be surprised with how we see the offseason going down.

Have at it. Victory formation!
