According to Packers boss man Mark Murphy at the shareholders meeting, while it is not set in stone just yet, Green Bay could be the host of the 2025 or 2027 NFL Draft. 2026 is out of the question due to Notre Dame and Wisconsin playing at Lambeau that year.
Murphy was quoted on the subject at a press conference:
I feel confident in either ’25 or ’27 we will. We’ll be given strong consideration. We’ve been close on other ones, too.
They really like the history and tradition of Lambeau Field and Titletown. The number of hotels in Green Bay, that’s the issue. It’s become a big enough event. We’ve included all the way down to Milwaukee that people would be staying.
According to Green Bay Press Gazette, 8,642 shareholders were in attendance for the meeting. This comes after the team added over 177,000 new shareholders earlier this year in a new stock sale which netted the team $55.3 million.
