Word came down that former Green Bay Packers cornerback Jarrett Bush was suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season, this morning. It was initially assumed that he was suspended because of a drunken incident back in March.
Not so.
Bush was suspended for drugs — the performance-enhancing variety.
Under the league’s drug program, players are suspended for four games for a first offense when they have a positive test for a steroid, stimulant or HGH.
So, if this new information is accurate, then Bush was juicing. Probably in an attempt to get one last crack at an NFL contract.
Unfortunately for him, the suspension has most likely ended his career.
