Once upon a time, Tramon Williams wasn’t a top NFL cornerback.
He was an undrafted free agent from Louisiana Tech who got signed by the Houston Texans. The Texans axed him on September 5, 2006.
Williams was signed by the Green Bay Packers, eventually became a starter, Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion. He has since signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Browns, of course.
Earlier this week, Tramon posted the release letter he got from the Texans back in the day.
Unsatisfactory skill or performance.

Their loss. Green Bay’s gain.
