It’s as if the Minnesota Vikings’ only purpose is to perpetuate the joke that they already are. The Green Bay Packers get rid of a guy and who’s there picking over the scrap heap of discarded parts?
The Minnesota Vikings.
Every time.
So of course the Packers part ways with linebacker A.J. Hawk and the Vikings are interested. That report came out over the weekend.
We all laughed heartily when we saw it.
On a more serious note, it appears that there is indeed somewhat of a market for Hawk’s services. In addition to the Vikings, Hawk has drawn interest from Cincinnati. He’ll visit with the Bengals this week.
The Packers, much to our chagrin, have also left the door slightly ajar for a possible Hawk return. It seems highly unlikely that will come to pass, however.
