Little bit of drama worth touching on from Sunday’s win against the Bears at Lambeau: one particular touchdown celebration following a Lazard TD near the end of the first half:

It was indeed an ayahuasca celebration after Allen Lazard’s TD. Sammy Watkins said it was an ode to Aaron Rodgers.
Randall Cobb said they were “just drinking some tea.”

This celebration was a reference to Aaron Rodgers’ discussing his use of ayahuasca on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast last month. The subject came up again about a week later on Peter King’s Football Morning in America.
You can watch Rodgers discuss his use of ayahuasca with Aubrey Marcus:
Some panties are now wadded over the issue — with some claiming that it promotes drug use on national television to children. I wonder if all the studies in the news showing the benefits of substances like ayahuasca also count?
An interesting tidbit from an angry editorial over the “issue”:
Full disclosure I am a Bears fan, but this isn’t about some petty rivalry, this is about protecting children.
You might not be aware of it, but the Green Bay Packers and The Chicago Bears played an NFL game Sunday night that was broadcast nationally on NBC.
The Bears happened to lose that game but that isn’t what we’re here to talk about.
We’re also not here to talk about the atrocious (objectively) officiating that went against Chicago basically every time it could.
If you stopped reading at “I am a Bears fan”, it’s ok — I am not judging you.
Either way, can we all not agree that Rodgers has seemed a bit more mellow lately and seems a lot more focused on his role as a team leader? I don’t care if he’s sniffing glue as long as it gets results. Week one is just something that happens against a division rival in a season opener, but last week we saw what the 2022 Packers can be capable of and we haven’t seen any hint of Kaaron Rodgers in many months.
