Former Green Bay Packers associate head coach Winston Moss appeared on Fox on Sunday to talk about the team’s situation.
Moss was fired shortly after Joe Philbin took over as interim coach. The timing was curious considering Moss sent out a tweet seemingly criticizing the organization and Aaron Rodgers. Essentially, it suggested Rodgers needed to be held accountable, which would also suggest that he wasn’t.
Moss is obviously fairly salty, which is nothing new. However, he “joked” that Rodgers actually runs the team on Sunday.
“Aaron Rodgers has been the head coach of the Packers for the last nine years.” Moss said and then added, “I’m just joking.”
Joking or not, Moss has now twice suggested he has an issue with Rodgers.
As far as the tweet, Moss said it was directed at fans rather than the organization. That doesn’t make much sense.
Moss is making the media rounds right now, which also doesn’t seem like a great idea if you want another coaching job.
