If you watched the Green Bay Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, then you probably recall when official Sarah Thomas had to leave the game after bashing the back of her head on the Lambeau Field turf.
What I don’t get — and it’s comical to look at now — is why she didn’t get the hell out of the way. Thomas was run over by Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph, who had safety Morgan Burnett on his back. Thomas is looking right at them as they’re coming toward her and she basically turns as if she were trying to draw a charge in basketball, rather than trying to jump out of the way.

Way to take that charge! First personal, No. 82.
Anyway, they looked at her for a concussion and she came back to the game shortly thereafter. So apparently she was alright.
