Fox Sports’ Nick Wright had a conversation with noted Aaron Rodgers criticizer Colin Cowherd a few days ago. During that conversation, Wright told Cowherd why Rodgers is the best quarterback he’s ever seen.
It pretty much boils down to one thing — touchdown to interception ratio.
Now, Wright wasn’t ready to say Rodgers is the best ever. He has to win more championships to earn that title. Just the best that he’s seen play.

This will always be an interesting debate. It isn’t about Aaron Rodgers’ greatness, though.
Some people around here much prefer the free-wheeling style of Brett Favre to the super-careful play of Rodgers.
Rodgers doesn’t throw interceptions because he doesn’t take any chances. That doesn’t take the Packers out of games — as Favre often did. It also sometimes doesn’t result in the type of virtuoso performances an overmatched team needs from their quarterback to win.
You can look at a lot of playoff games in Rodgers’ career and see that.
The best approach is somewhere in the middle, of course. And we only know that because the Packers’ last two quarterbacks have been polar opposites in terms of style of play.
