Somehow, receiver Jeff Janis has returned to practice less than a month after breaking a bone in his hand.
How did he do this, you ask? As the bionic man, apparently.
Even though receivers use their hands to do their jobs, Janis is back in action like a defensive lineman would be. He has a club covering his broken hand.

Clearly, at this point, Janis’ roster spot is in jeopardy. He probably felt he had to do something to get back on the field.
And as we’ve always maintained, Janis will make this team for his special teams ability. He hasn’t shown anything as a receiver, despite ample training camp opportunities to do so.
On the flip side, this only complicates matters for the Packers. An injured Janis was an easy decision — stash the guy on one of the injury lists and make a decision later.
Now, the Packers probably need to either keep Janis on the active roster and lose someone else or lose Janis.
