The Green Bay Packers have officially outlined their NFL offseason program as preparations begin for the 2026 campaign. The schedule provides a structured timeline for players to return and build momentum ahead of training camp.

The program will start with voluntary workouts, giving players an opportunity to begin conditioning and reconnect with the coaching staff. These early sessions are designed to ease athletes back into football activities while emphasizing strength and preparation.

Following the initial phase, organized team activities will mark the next step in the offseason progression. These sessions allow for more coordinated work on schemes, timing and overall execution as players take the field together.

The franchise will then transition into mandatory minicamp, where attendance is required and the focus shifts toward more detailed preparation. This stage typically offers a clearer picture of roster competition and positional battles heading into the summer.

The franchise has revealed its schedule for voluntary workouts and OTAs amid the NFL offseason this year. This is detailed more in an article by Mike Spofford for the team’s official website.

The NFL announced offseason workout dates for all 32 teams Friday, and the Packers’ nine-week program begins later this month.

Voluntary workouts start April 20, with organized team activities (OTAs) scheduled for the weeks of May 26, June 1 and June 15.

For the coaching staff, the offseason schedule provides valuable time to implement adjustments and evaluate player development. It also serves as an important period for integrating new additions and reinforcing expectations across the roster.

As the NFL offseason unfolds, the franchise will use this structured approach to lay the groundwork for the upcoming season. The combination of voluntary work and mandatory sessions is expected to help the team build cohesion and prepare for the challenges ahead.
