Keisean Nixon embraced the Pro Bowl spotlight this week and made one thing clear: when forced to pick between two generational NBA stars, he sides with LeBron James. The Green Bay Packers cornerback’s quick answer came during a light‑hearted social video promoting his late‑January selection to the Pro Bowl roster.

Nixon’s appearance in the Pro Bowl followed Devon Witherspoon’s withdrawal because his Seahawks are preparing for the Super Bowl, and the call‑up marks the first Pro Bowl nod of Nixon’s career. He started all 17 games for Green Bay in 2025, logging 72 tackles, 17 passes defensed and a reputation for reliability on both defense and special teams.

The team released a series of rapid‑fire preference questions to promote Nixon’s selection, and his LeBron pick was one of several fun reveals. In that same clip he opted for the bowl over the burrito, named Snoop Dogg over Tupac, said he prefers the beach to the mountains and chose Los Angeles over San Francisco, delivering a personable glimpse of his off‑field tastes.

For Packers fans, the short video served a dual purpose: celebrating Nixon’s achievement while humanizing a player who has quietly become a fixture in the secondary. His on‑field performance earned the recognition, but the social content helps build a broader connection between Nixon and the fan base ahead of Pro Bowl week in San Francisco.

Nixon was given a choice between James and Curry and he picked the former as his favorite NBA star. This can be seen in a video shared by the team’s official Instagram account.

Nixon’s versatility has been valuable in Green Bay’s defensive scheme, and the Pro Bowl invitation acknowledges a season of consistency rather than a single highlight reel moment. Coaches and teammates lauded his durability and play‑making instincts, traits that translated into a full season of snaps and impact plays.

As Nixon prepares for the skills competitions and flag football format at the Pro Bowl Games, his comfort in front of the camera suggests he will handle the national stage with ease. The selection is a milestone for a player whose steady work has finally drawn league‑wide attention.

The Packers will be watching as Nixon represents the NFC, and his personable answers give fans another reason to tune in. Whether on the field or in a short promo clip, Nixon’s Pro Bowl week is off to a memorable start.
