Green Bay Packers’ 2025 Valuation Is Staggering

The Green Bay Packers’ financial standing reached a remarkable level in 2025, underscoring the continued growth of the NFL’s smallest market franchise. Valued at approximately $6.65 billion, the team now sits firmly among the league’s most powerful business entities.

That figure represents a significant year-over-year increase, reflecting the broader surge in franchise values. All teams across the league are now valued at no less than $5 billion, a threshold that would have seemed unimaginable just a decade ago. Green Bay’s rise mirrors that trend, even as the team operates without a private owner.

Despite ranking in the middle of the league in overall valuation, the Packers’ number carries unique weight. Unlike other franchises, Green Bay’s publicly owned structure prevents equity sales or outside investors from driving up valuations through stake purchases. The growth instead stems from league-wide media deals, revenue sharing and steady operational management.

National television contracts continue to be the engine behind that growth. The league’s revenue-sharing model ensures that teams like Green Bay benefit equally from broadcast deals that generate billions annually. This system has allowed the team to remain competitive financially despite limited local revenue compared with teams in larger markets.

As it stands, the Jordan Love-led team is worth billions of dollars this year. This can be seen in an article by Brett Knight and Justin Teitelbaum for Forbes.

The valuation also highlights the contrast between Green Bay and the league’s elite financial giants. While franchises such as the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams have crossed the $10 billion mark, the franchise remains a model of sustainability rather than scale. Their consistent profitability and financial transparency set them apart in modern professional sports.

At $6.65 billion, Green Bay’s 2025 valuation is staggering not only because of the number itself, but because of how it was achieved. It reflects decades of stability, loyal fan support and a league structure that rewards shared success. In an era of skyrocketing franchise values, the franchise continues to prove that market size is no barrier to lasting financial strength.
