After a league flex to MNF, the Saints vs Packers at Lambeau is a go.
While the 2024 NFC North crown is now out of reach for the Packers, a playoff birth is still just around the corner. With a win against the mediocre Saints, in December….at Lambeau, the Pack will clinch their playoff birth as a wildcard.
Here is a write-up off all the playoff scenarios for the Packers over at Sports Illustrated
It’s been a very strange season with so much parity around the league except for the NFC North. It continues to live up to its reputation as the most competitive in the NFL but with the added twist that it’s the Lions that came out on top this season. In fact, they’re the #1 playoff seed. What a world.
Even more strange is that the Falcons are at the top of their division with a terrible, criminally over-payed QB and an 8-7 record.
Packers Injury Report

Gonna get this out of the way: Jaire Alexander is questionable, but has been active in practice. Not to jinx it, but the team is in a relatively healthy state at the moment. Coach Matt LaFleur is the cautious type, so preserving Jaire for the playoffs would be within his M.O.
Without Jaire, that leaves Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine and Eric Stokes as starting corners against New Orleans.
LB Quay Walker is out and will not be playing. McKinney will be on the field, so no worries back there. Dude is a beast.
Packers Offense on a Hot Streak
Christian Watson has been silencing his haters, including me. The man can ball, y’all:
TE Luke Mosgrave is questionable, but overall, the offense is in pretty decent shape. Love’s early season injury appears to be history, if his recent performances are any indicator. RB Josh Jacobs is still splitting defenses like Moses and I do not see that being any different in tonight’s game.
Speaking of Jacobs, given the fact that this one might be a, dare I say, “easy win”, I would not be surprised to see more action from the RB depth chart like we did against the Dolphins.
Fair Warning: Tonight’s Monday Night Football Broadcast Will Be With Joe Buck and Troy “Packers Got My Sister Pregnant and I’m Still Mad About It” Aikman
They’re that chatty couple after the dinner party that won’t shut up. Adding insult to injury, Aikman simply does not care for the Packers and it shows.
Heads Up: You can always listen to the radio broadcast with the TV on mute. Choice is yours.
