The Vikings (12-3) come to Lambeau to take on the Packers (7-8) in an NFC North rivalry game that’s a must-win situation for the Pack going into the 2022 playoffs.
The Packers offense has been on a hot streak lately with WR Christian Watson appearing as a reliable target for Rodgers — however, both of these players are struggling with their own injuries going into this game.
David Bakhtiari is expected to play and so is RB Aaron Jones, who was limited in practice this week.

Packers vs Vikings Injury Report
WR Christian Watson, who has a hip injury, will game a game-time decision depending on his condition.
Packers’ WR Christian Watson, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hip injury, will test his injury pre-game to see if he can play vs. the Vikings, per source. Watson didn’t take any live repetitions last week during practice, but Green Bay still is hoping he can play.

Due to inactivity, lets talk about the Bears/Lions game.
.
As everyone knows, the Bears team is on the rise, we learned that from our good friend Tom Moshier 3 or 4 weeks ago.
They are now 3-13 after losing 9 straight.
.
As Tom M. has also told us, Justin Fields is a franchise QB (rb?).
Today Justin Fields handed it to the Lions 32nd ranked defense.
Going 7/21 for 75 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int. and 1 fumble lost.
.
On the upside, as with many franchise QB’s (rb’s?), he led his team in rushing yards with 10 carries for 132 yards.
.
Justin Fields?…YES!!…Make room Canton!
Ain’t that right Tommi?
*********************
You almost have to wonder….
Does Tommi think this website is a contest who can say the dumbest shit?
If so, he’s won it every year since changing his username.
.
Congrats 🥱
Well Kevin, Justin Fields may never be Kurt Benkert or Tim Boyle good as your keen eye for talent has told us. But Fields is talented enough to be an NFL starting QB. And I say he’ll be a pretty good one. Unfortunately he’s stuck on a roster devoid of talent. He’s got nothing on offense and their GM traded away their best defensive players at the trade deadline. With high draft picks and big money to spend on FA’s, look for the Bears GM to be aggressive this offseason. Finding a franchise QB is half the battle. You can build around Justin Fields. Careful Kevin, you have a tendency to shoot your wad too soon. I’d let this play out before you make an ass of yourself. Why, not two months ago you were telling us Christian Watson was a bust and Romeo Doubs couldn’t play. That’s not such a good look now. You made similar comments about Rashan Gary and Jordan Love. Gary was also a bust, while Love should have been dealt for a 6th round pick during training camp. With you it’s always open mouth, insert foot.
So i call you out on saying the bears are a team on the rise, and that you said Fields was a franchise QB.
(We all remember you saying that)
.
So what do you bring up in your defense?
Lets see…
Watson. Gary, Love, Doubs, Free agents, Benkert, Boyle…lol
Which….have absolutely NOTHING to do with the bears on the rise, or saying Fields is a franchise QB.
.
But there you go Moshier, off to crazy crazy land where you like to live.
.
I guess sometimes it’s really hard to spin the dumb shit things you say….even for you
Oh, Kevin! I never said the Bears were good. I said Justin Fields was a franchise QB. He has a chance to be good. Not the same. You Kevin, the QB whisperer, said Tim Boyle and Kurt Benkert were better than Jordan Love. That statement is just beyond stupid. We’ll revisit Justin Fields next year after his new GM has had time to get talent around him. If Ryan Poles is any good, and I have no idea one way or the other, Chicago could be on the rise because they already have the most important piece, QB. If you recall Kevin, in the early years of the Brett Favre era, the Packers weren’t a good football team. But it didn’t take long to know we had a QB. Thru the draft and FA Ron Wolf came close to building a dynasty. I’m not saying Fields is Favre or Ryan Poles is Ron Wolf. But franchise QB’s don’t grow on trees. If you’ve got one, you’ve got a chance. For the first time since Jim McMahon, the Bears may have one. While the Packers trot out old and tired Aaron Rodgers.
Correction:
“Oh, Kevin! I never said the Bears were good. I said they were a team on the rise, multiple times.” – Tom M
I kind of feel like a 30 year old, picking on the intellect of a 5 year old, but fuck it…..

“Oh, Kevin! I never said the Bears were good.” Tommi
.
I wrote, that you said the bears were a team on the rise.
(Golly Gee Tommy, are you trying to “spin” your words again.
.
Tom M 2 weeks ago
The Bears finally have a young, talented, franchise QB with a team on the rise. They hate Aaron Rodgers and they smell blood.
.
Lets do This Tommi, because you seem “confused”.
What does a team “on the rise” look like to you Tommi?
Does it look like 3-13, losing 9 in a row?
Is that how you see it?
.
Since were here….
Fields just went 7/21 for 75 yards with 1 TD, 1 int. and 1 lost fumble against……the Lions 32nd ranked defense.
.
What does a franchise QB look like to you Tommi ?
Is that how you see Fields?
I don’t care if you hate pr love Rodgers this 3rd and 4th throw a 40 yard fucking pass shit needs to stop. Getting bailed out hard during a -27 passing yard in 1st quarter traditional choke job.
Well….They had 27 pass attempts to 33 rushing attempts.
.
The Packers..in a “total team win”, put up a 40 burger on the queens.
.
I’m just going to enjoy the win.
I am happy Aaron Rodgers is our qb. With that being said…iclearly the tendency is on tape…since they try it every week more than once…and it maybe works 10% of the time. Pretty simple for the defense to scheme… show them a look that give them a chance to complete an extremely difficult play..and dare them to do it. Reminds me of the old gunslinger.
The horseshit cost them on the first drive leading to the blocked punt and again on the next drive.
Just like their “draw them offsides” bullshit play that hasn’t worked for 5 seasons.

Why am I seeing PF4L’s email address when I try to post???
Dean
What?
This messaging system has been showing other users’ usernames and emails when trying to comment. PF4L’s info must have popped up when dean tried to submit a comment, hence why it is under PF4L’s name but at the bottom it is signed by dean.
When did that start? That’s a new one. It’s just the default WordPress comments now, nothing special on top.
I also saw another person’s email when I replied a few days ago to a comment, but I’m not seeing it now.
Cheese is correct. I was able to post under PF4L’s email. I just wanted to point it out…
Awesome way to start out 202free — drain the swap as the Washington football team is eliminated and GB (owned by we the people) have the inside track to the last NFC playoff spot.
.
Best quote of the day by the NBC crew on Sunday night football. Something like everything we thought was true 4/5 weeks ago was wrong.
.
Great team win.
This game had all the fun you could ask for. Beating the Vikes, yeah.
–
I’ll admit, I was a bit worried when earlier in the week Alexander got real cocky about Jefferson. It’s not cocky when you back it up. Jefferson was not a factor. Whatever they did certainly worked.
–
The blocked punt was worrisome but they kept them out of the end zone and held them to 3. That was great defense. Then, 105 yards on a kick off return by Nixon. Wow, wasn’t that cool? What took so long to recognize this guy by the in-house staff?
–
How about a 56 yard crossbar doink by Crosby? Like nothing could go wrong. As much ragging as Savage gets (from me too), his return on the pick was real pretty. Ford gets yet another pick and this was way out of reach.
–
Like some have predicted, little Erin did get benched in favor of Jordan Love. Yeah, after the Pack was up so far that the Vikes were just wishing to get the hell out of town! The Wisconsin 511 website reported icing over on Highway 29 from freezing tears of Vikings fans on the way back to Minnie.
–
Maybe just maybe Green Bay is coming together and playing well at the right time. We shall see. This was a very balanced attack on offense and the defense played very well, probably as well as many expected they should have from the start of the season.
–
Happy New Year TP posters, that was a good one.
Happy New Year to you also Mitch, and the rest of you filthy animals.
Well that was a fun game to watch. That blocked punt was frustrating but the defense made up for it by holding Minn to a field goal and special teams made up with Nixon’s kickoff return. Too bad they had to have that horrible camera angle for that return. Just show the normal view.
Jaire held Jefferson to one catch for 15 yards. That’s what’s up. Jefferson said that he thought it should have been a taunting call when Jaire copied his silly little dance. Boo-hoo.
Putting up 41 points on the #2 seed in the NFC. Things are getting interesting.
What it comes down to is how far the defense, the run game, and special teams takes us. We’ve had 8 turnovers in the last two games. Nixon has had multiple big returns on special teams the last two games. While Aaron Rodgers threw for 159 yards. At least he didn’t throw an interception. That won’t get you very far in the playoffs.
Interceptions don’t get you far in the playoffs.
.
Well…now we know.
.
Besides being entertaining, this site is also a learning center.
That’s right Kevin. Old, washed up QB’s don’t get you very far in the playoffs either. You know the difference between Aaron Rodgers and Justin Fields this season? Besides the obvious age difference. With one young and ascending and the other in obvious decline. Rodgers has far superior players around him. I said at the time, if Christian Watson had played for the Bears, Chicago win that game. Not the Packers. That’s a one player difference. Justin Jefferson makes Kirk Cousins look better than he actually is. Take Jefferson away the way Alexander did, and Cousins looks like a 39 year old Aaron Rodgers. Jared Goff and Dan Campbell, while competent, will always have limitations. If Justin Fields gets players around him, I could see epic battles between Justin Fields and Jordan Love over supremacy of the NFC North for the next decade. While you see Aaron Rodgers still playing like an old man and bitching about Walker’s wonderlic score. As if that has any bearing on how he tackles. Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff and 39 year old Aaron Rodgers have peaked professionally. We know what they are and none are good enough to win a SB. While Jordan Love and Justin Fields represent the future. The Vikings and Lions will be scrambling, looking for their next QB soon. The Packers and the Bears will be ahead of the curve.
Jason, I sent you an email at the contact location for Total Packers two days ago expressing concern about seeing individuals email addresses.
The problem is still occurring, as evidenced by me posting using PF4L’s data left from his most recent comment.
Thank you for taking care of this breach in the website’s protocol regarding NOT publishing email addresses.
Howard
We’re going backwards a bit Howard, a lot of the posting problems got handled (finally).
Now we are back to writing in our name and e-mail for new postings, even though it should be auto fill.
Plus we lost the (past comments section to the right under “recent post”.
Now this.
.
Then as in the past, it seems to be a “surprise” when brought to attention.
.
It is what it is….but we both know what i’m saying.
Happy new PF4L! It sure was tempting to post under your handle but I thought better of it.
.
Now if someone gets a chance to post as Tom …
Happy to New Year to you and yours Dean.
.
I could have posted under Tom’s name multiple times.
Yea, i thought about it for almost a second, but if i did that i don’t think i could clean myself from the stank.
.
I do have his e-mail, so there’s that.
OOP’s…i should have stayed in school.
On the other side……
.
Quay Walker, playing to his wonderlic score, decided he wants to be like Koko B. Ware and body slam his opponent.
.
Then, amazingly…..acts like he is shocked, and did nothing wrong.
*****************
Who is Dallin Leavitt, and why would any team want to put him on an NFL field?
.
Darnell….thanks for the pick 6..but it doesn’t change a thing.
.
In fairness to (cough) Cousins, most, if not all (i haven’t re-watched it) of his picks were tipped passes. Credit to Douglas, and the men up front
