The NFL has provided us with some super entertaining games since the start of the new season and the fans can wait for some more action. So far, there have been a few surprises as well as many predictable outcomes in the games.

But, the most unpredictable positions on the table have got to be the mid-table to lower positions. The teams to watch on this part of the table are the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. In this article, we will analyze both teams and give our take on who will be the favorite in their upcoming game.

The Chicago Bears’ Form

Will start off with the Chicago Bears as they are the home team in this highly anticipated game. Before the start of the season, the bookmakers gave the Bears very low odds of winning the Super Bowl. And now as the table is starting to shape up, we understand why.

In their preseason games, they managed to win all three games, which showed a strong desire to start the season in top shape. But, things didn’t go as expected.
At the moment, they sit at the lower part of the table, fighting with the smaller teams for a way up. With only 3 wins out of 11 and a negative total points, it seems like this is already becoming a season to forget for the Bears.

Their recent form is also dreadful, as they have suffered four straight losses where their last win being over a month ago against the Patriots. But, it is worth mentioning that in their last games they’ve put on some good performances, despite the losses.

It looks like they are working very hard to turn things around and hopefully reach a decent position at the end of the season. However, that requires a lot of hard work, determination, and consistency, and the last of those is where they lack the most.

The Packers Season So Far

At the moment, the Green Bay Packers are also laying somewhere at the bottom of the table, having suffered 7 losses in 11 games. They were given pretty good odds of winning the Super Bowl before the start of the season, but things didn’t go as planned.

The bookmakers have also made them the favorites to win in the Bears vs Packers game that is set to take place on the 4th of December.

But, still, this will be a tough match, as both teams are in identical bad form. The Packers have won only one game in their last 7 games in the NFL, which is a terrible record at this stage of the season.

They’ve started the season pretty well, winning 3 out of their 4 games, but then everything went sideways. The lack of both attack and defense can be seen in every game, as well as in the statistics, which show negative total points.

Last season the Packers reach the quarter-finals, but this season reaching the playoffs isn’t a realistic target, as things are shaping up. If they want to turn things around, then they should try and do it as soon as possible, because the players’ motivation will drop even lower in the second part of the season.

Who Has an Advantage?

When we put both teams head-to-head, we will notice that they have nearly identical chances of winning the game, despite the bookmakers’ opinions. The Packers are only one win ahead of the Bears, but they are also playing away from home.

This will be a chance for both teams to try and turn things around, both that is more easy said than done. The Packers have the history on their side, as they haven’t lost against the Bears in four years.

But, looking at the history isn’t always good for predicting an outcome, as there are many variables in play for this game. Both teams lack a few players due to injuries and both teams have started the season very badly.

At the moment, the Bears have shown more desire for winning in their last matches than the Packers, despite suffering four straight losses. They are also better at playing home games than the Packers at their away games. Because of that, we think that the Beras will win the game, despite the fact the Packers are entering the game as favorites.
