Which Aaron Rodgers will we get today, folks? Creepy looking guy at the liquor store who just needs a dollar from week one or will we get the superstar QB from last week’s game against San Francisco? Lucky for us, there is an entire squad of players that tend to be a bit more predictable.
Rodgers’ so-called last dance is starting be marred a bit by injury reports so far:
Inactives list
CB Kevin King
LB Krys Barnes
LB La’Darius Hamilton
OL Elgton Jenkins
It was reported by ESPN that Marquez Vades-Scantling was placed on the short-term injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. He will be away for at least a few weeks. MVS is the deep threat that Rodgers seems to have better and better chemistry with lately. Just the implication alone that he might get open puts pressure on the rest of the defense and he will be missed. He’s come a long way since I dissed him a couple years ago.
Also, we got more bad news this week on the Za’Darius Smith situation. While there is still some hope we will see his return this season, the injury seems to be worse than initially thought.
Z out a long time is not a surprise. The hope is just that. A hope. It’s not the expectation. https://t.co/k6w6lgdWVe
