The Pack is back? Were they ever really gone? Was week one just a fever dream? Will injuries sandbag all this glory? It’s time for the Pack to smash this low hanging fruit of a football team and focus on making it until their week 13 bye week, which is the latest ever and just happens to top the second latest ever: also the Pack at week 11. But the NFL favors the Packers, amirite?
Yesterday, GM Brian Gutekunst announced that C Josh Myers has been placed on injured reserve and activated G Ben Braden from the practice squad. The new guy is out. Myers also missed the Bengals game and most of the Bears game.
S Darnell Savage, CB Kevin King, and LB Preston Smith are all listed as being questionable.
Here is a complete look at active player injuries for both teams:
Jaire Alexander and Za’Darius Smith, among others, will be sorely missed as the season goes on.

LB Whitney Mercilus was snagged by the Packers this week with a sweet deal for the team which included a get out of jail free card for Mercilus:
During Randall Cobb’s return press conference in Green Bay, he likened leaving Houston to leaving prison.@RobDemovsky asked Whitney Mercilus if he heard that comment.

Mercilus is not likely to contribute much during today’s game, however. It would be surprising if he did, but this season is full of surprises for everyone.
Also worth mentioning, Green Bay officially dedicated the Bart Starr Memorial Bridge this week:
It’s a shame Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers couldn’t have been more like Bart Starr. A true gentleman. Instead of the selfish pricks that they are. A sign of the times I suppose. This is the last gimme from here on out save the last Detroit game. They’ll be no more Taylor Hienike’s on the schedule. It’s smart to hold Preston and King out on a short week with Arizona on Thursday. We’ll need to be 6-1 going into a brutal second half of the season. Where we’ll find out if we truly are a SB contender or if this is just another one and done playoff team. “Micheal Jordan” has to outplay Taylor Hienkie. When Chicago took away Rodgers game plan of forcing everything to Adams. He was able to transition to Matt LaFleur’s game plan. Which is a more balanced attack by spreading the ball around. At least he’s not totally stubborn. I keep waiting for the dam to break in the secondary. Hopefully we’ll get one more week before Kyler Murray puts up 50.
Washington Red Football Something. Not too bad.
How about the Washington Wokeskins?
How about the Washington Foreskins? With a pic of a male member on the side of the helmet? Too masculine? Oh, but we can celebrate the vagina! So empowering! When do we start complaining about ND and the “fighting Irish?” That mascot is a drunk Irishman if ever I saw one. Shouldn’t we all be offended?
For whatever reason…^Male genitalia is always on his mind^
Not that there is anything wrong with that
Can someone tell me wtf is going on?
Adams only had 7 targets, Cobb only had 4.
This makes no sense. That’s 2 games now.
I thought Rodgers had their backs, I thought his only interest was getting Adams his 15-20 targets?
I thought Rodgers lived to make those guys look good and make Adams some “scratch”?
What’s wrong, did they have a falling out?
Did Murphy and Gute lay down the law with Rodgers?
Did MLF threaten to bench Rodgers if he kept going to his “favorites”?
Or is some Viking fan just full of shit…as usual?
What say you Princess Tommi?
In other news……
Looks like Adams is out for Thursday’s game.
Will the Packers keep winning games without Adams?
Stay tuned for loud mouth soup to give his “expert” opinion.
Like how Adams gets 15-20 targets a game.
Same guy….same bullshit…different day.
Now Lazard too. Ugh.
Let’s see how they can scheme around these problems and who may step up. Here’s hoping.
