If you like peaks and valleys of emotions watching Packer football, then you might have enjoyed watching the Packers squeak out a deserved win in Cincinnati. The defense deserved this win. The offense, despite their red zone struggles, made enough big plays to earn a tough victory. The question; would Mason Crosby and the special teams units lose the game for the Packers?
The special teams gaffs were not just Crosby. A 31 yard shank punt and a couple of long kickoff returns added to the disastrous day for coach Maurice Drayton. How is he going to sleep tonight?
Crosby never wanted the disaster in Detroit in 2018 brought up as a comparison for any future game. Sunday it happened. Four missed field goal and an extra point in Detroit. Thirteen potential points missed. An unlucky number for a fluke of a game. Before Crosby’s first miss today the TV announcers were rattling off his uncanny recent accuracy. He has been bathing in the glory of breaking his own record by hitting 24 field goals in a row and being named “Special Teams Player of the Week” after his last second winning kick in San Francisco two weeks prior. In Cincinnati, the wheels came off that glory train. Three missed field goals and a missed extra point stretched the patience and the trust of Packer fans who squirmed in increasing frustration after each miss.
Luckily, the Packer defense came to play. The defense had two interceptions, the second by De’Vondre Campbell in overtime seemed to be a game winner. Until. Cosby yipped his attempt, Crosby his third of the day. The defense forced five punts and in the 4th quarter and overtime stopped Cincinnati outside the red zone leading to three missed field goals.. Only the missed assignment of Darnell Savage that allowed a last second first half touchdown, spoiled a good game for five quarters by a team missing it’s All Pro corner Jaire Alexander. Dean Lowry had a sack and batted down a pass, setting a tone early in the game. The defense only had two sacks of Joe Burrow, but the pressure was consistent and his scrambling was shut down. Burrows took a hard clean hit from Savage and was slow to get up, but stayed in the game.
Aaron Rodgers started slow, throwing consecutive incompletions on their first drive to force a punt. On their second drive Rodgers threw a pick on a pass thrown too far inside and short intended for Davante Adams. After the Bengals drove for a 7-0 lead, Rodgers went on a tear, going 20-22 at one point, leading a comeback that would bring a victory when Crosby shook off his four misses . Crosby stood on the field contemplating his future game winning kick for an NFL eternity due to an extended delay on the field while officials pondered the spot of the tackle, ultimately concluding that the great catch by Randall Cobb was short of the first down marker. I would definitely give a penny to know his thoughts during that wait.
Randall Cobb only had two catches but he caught the last catch of the day and it was a money grab. Cobb’s catch came in overtime on third and sixteen. He held on as safety Jessie Bates laid a solid hit on him. The play was even more spectacular because of the throw. Rodgers was able to get just enough on the pass, with pinpoint accuracy, even though he was hit on the hand and could not follow through.
The Bengals defense played hard, but Packer receivers repeatedly made tough catches to extend drives. Tonyan is being kept in to block more due to the injuries to the offensive line, but he made a tough catch on third and four for eight yards and a first down. The rest of the Packer third downs were the Davante Adams show. Adams caught eleven passes for 201 yards and one touchdown. Rodgers targeted him on all but four of the Packers 10 offensive snaps on third down. The 11th third down was a Crosby shank. Rodgers completed six passes on third down. Four were completed to Adams on six targets. Overall the Packers were 4-11 on third down conversions, two completions falling short and including Crosby’s third miss. Adams’ longest, a 59 yarder, seemed to break the game open. The Packers and Crosby made a field goal on the drive extending the Packers lead to eight. But the Bengals went on a 4th quarter, thirteen play 75 yard drive and then completed the two point conversion to tie the score with 3:27 left to play. The rest of regulation needs to be excised from the memory of Crosby. Rodgers really won this game at least twice, giving the Packers multiple opportunities to kick a winner. Aaron Jones’ breakout 59 yard jump cutting, tackle breaking burst deep into Bengals’ territory seemed to seal the game. Exit, wide left. Then Campbell’s interception of Burrows in OT for a moment seemed to have a chance at a pick six. He was tackled at Cincinnati’s 17. LeFleur seemed to go too conservative, and two run plays resulted in a loss of five yards and Crosby’s 51 yarder. Juuust Outside. The Packer defense stopped the Bengals on their next possession after one first down. The Bengals failed to convert a third and two when Barnes made a good stop forcing the Bengals to attempt a 49 yarder and their rookie kicker missed it.
That miss allowed the Packers to take over at their own 49 where Mercedes Lewis grabbed a short pass and rumbled past defenders for 20 yards. Cobb’s catch and Crosby’s kick allowed Green Bay to walk out of Paul Brown stadium victorious. Aaron Rodgers erased his losing record against the Bengals, improving his overall record to 2-2 against Cincinnati. The Packers are now 4-1 and have some breathing room in the North division. Next up, Da Bears in Chicago.

Damn…that’s a quick article for this joint.
.
A shame i can’t think of anything to say.
They say one should never apologize for a win in the NFL. This game had quite a bit of drama, great plays on both sides, several momentum swings, and i can’t remember seeing so many missed kicks. It was a mud fence ugly win, but a win nonetheless. Cincinnati has been a house of horrors for the Pack. 1998 was the last time GB won in Cincy, during the regular season.
When was the last time Special Teams didn’t provide cringy moments all season for Green Bay? The Hentrich/Jacke years? I’d make a list but would just be pissed to relive 2014.
BINGO! I feel the same way Ferris. On a good note, how good of an acquisition was D. Campbell? The guy shows up to play every week, and is making a big difference, even creating turnover plays. Haven’t seen that since the D. Bishop days. He and Barnes should make a good duo at the ILB position.
It might be Campbell and Jaylon Smith
.
We’ll see what Smith brings.
.
But damn…it makes me wonder (again)
.
I mean…how bad do you want to move a guy if they’re dumping 7 million in unearned salary.
.
How does the rest of the league pass on Campbell and we get him in late June on a one year, $2 million deal? He’s singlehandedly revived my belief we can have good ILB play in GB.
He’s definitely an upgrade.
Campbell essentially showed K. Martin the door…indirectly.
Campbell was another guy i was scratching my head about when released.
.
No…he’s not a Pro Bowler, but every here and there he makes a flash play, plus the fact he’s playing like his ass is on fire, or his career is on the line.
.
Yes…he’s an upgrade, But, I’m not sure what the upgrade means.
Does it mean he’s just that good?
Or does it mean the people he followed, were just that bad?
.
Maybe a combination of the two.
Idk…I don’t have all the answers people.
I always wondered why Cory Littleton was passed over in the draft. The guy just made game changing type plays consistently when he was with the Rams. Littleton did not produce as well with the Raiders last year. Joe Barry was Littleton’s position coach with the Rams. Campbell to me is a clone of Littleton. Is it possible that Barry knows how to put linebackers in the best position possible to just make plays. I do not want to take anything away from the player that Campbell is. I also do not want to discount Barry’s role in Campbells play. Just look at Littleton. Now let’s see what Barry can do with Jaylon Smith and how much Barnes will improve. I think we can expect good things from all three as long as they stay healthy.
Howard, if you catch this….
Why do you think the Cowboys would want to move J. Smith?
I mean, i get that they are high on Parsons and company.
.
But your opinion on why they wanted to move a guy they paid 7 million to.
Just seems odd to me. Certainly, he’s good depth?
Wondering if J Smith can rush the passer? He has 9 career sacks but I’m not sure if he rushed much. Seems like he can be a good run stopper and Campbell can cover if GB wants to continue playing 2 DTs, 2 OLBs, 2 ILBs, and 5 DBs. Barnes had a nice read and sack last game.
Nobody has been more critical of how this team has ignored the MLB position than me, but damn – time to eat my words a bit. Campbell had been an incredible pickup. He’s a huge reason our D has been playing so well lately.
.
Hey where’s Tommy? Aaron Rodgers didn’t have a “perfect” day and we still won! Weird shit! Almost like it’s a team sport or something.
Wait,,,,now the rest of the players matter?
.
Ok, now i’m lost…i gotta take a breath and regroup.
See above comment on Campbell. Holy cow!
Arodge played pretty damn good. He made some throws only he can make. We need a more consistent running game, and Tonyan being more of a blocker right now and MVS being out is not helping Arodge. Once those things get corrected watch out! We need to win as much as we can right now. The AZ, KC, Seattle stretch is going to be a bitch. At least Wilson is likely to be out. Packers have nightmares when having to play Seattle so dont count them out even with a 2nd string QB.
If we can at least secure one home playoff game this year, and have JA come back, and our oline healthy come playoff time; well anything is possible isnt it? Certainly wasnt thinking that way after week 1.
We will need something to hope for after the Brewers are eliminated in round 1 :( What a waste of a season…
Gregg Counsels decision to pull off the throttle at the end of the Brewers season looks about as successful as the Packers not playing any starters in the Pre-Season. The unfortunate difference being it only cost the Packers one game in a 17 game schedule, while the Brewers are joking away maybe the best regular season in Franchise history…
Normally..i wouldn’t say anything,, but ya done butchered that bad.
.
Craig Counsell
.
Just sayin.
How was that catch by Cobb NOT a first down . TV sure didn’t spend much time reviewing it when it looked like he was way over the line.
The replay I saw showed Cobb’s butt touching down with the ball just short of the first down.
Also the TV had the yellow first down marker projected across the field at the 32 — it should have been at the 31 yard line….
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Nice Dean…watching the game
Ya, the announcers had stated that the yellow line was an estimated point to reach for the 1st down. Turns out that it should have been at the 31 yard line, as Dean stated above. Cobbs’ butt touched down short of the real line to gain, it was the correct call.
We’re very lucky to be 4-1. We could just as easily, and probably should be 2-3. PF4L will tell you “there was never any doubt” that we’d win. I see. Letting the Bengals tie the game was all for dramatic effect. The Packers sheepishly knew Cincinnati would miss the game winning FG. This win was all about the defense. Anytime you hold your opponent to 22 points thru 5 quarters you should win easily if your Aaron Rodgers. Once again he struggled putting the Bengals away. Just like he struggled to put the Steelers and the 49ers away. You can’t keep settling for FG’s inside the 10. Where the field shrinks and everyone knows the ball is going to Davante Adams. Half of Aaron Rodgers targets are going to Adams. Good teams like Kansas City, Arizona, the Rams, Cleveland, Baltimore, and Seattle if Russell Wilson is back by then, will either take Adams away or greatly limit his effectiveness. He’s got to spread the ball around. Kevin King is hurt yet again. I don’t see how Sunday’s defensive effort is sustainable without Alexander who maybe looking at season ending shoulder surgery.
We…please stop with the WE. Just tattoo an L on your forehead for using WE for your favorite team.
Ya, King is hurt again. I’m not surprised. This guy has had shoulder issues since college. and is the reason why he remains a hesitant tackler. King had a decent game against Cincy, but I think the reason was also because Cincy was targeting Sullivan and Stokes for the better part of the game.
I did say…there was never a doubt :)
Go on a rant if it makes you feel better Princess…lol
You’ve gotta invent things to bitch about.
.
Apparently not all of us understands sarcastic humor.
.
You want to score TD’s in the red zone? Who knew?
Keep explaining the game of football to us Thomas, we’d be lost without you.
.
Some thought the Packers salary cap problems occurred far before Cobb was ever signed.
I agree with Tommi…i say hogwash!!
.
Tommi said it happened because GM Rodgers wanted Cobb signed.
You can’t argue with Tommi logic.
Sure, you can try, but you do so on your own peril people
He’s one tough customer..
.
I didn’t even know Kevin King was hurt again.
What did Rodgers do to cause this?
Something must have happened.
Did he towel whip him in the shower and Cobb fell and suffered a high ankle sprain?
I know Rodgers is at fault, somehow, someway.
.
They can take Adams away all they want.
Gute has a plan for a #2 receiver…just be patient, it’s only been 3 plus years.
.
While it’s true we could be worse than 4-1.
“WE” are …..4-1
Stop being such a miserable bastard for once in your life.
“Towel whipped him in the shower?” No, Rodgers just dropped the soap and fell in love….
So…the same way you fell in love then.
.
I hear ya.
“I hear ya?” The way you were moaning so did everyone else….
Tommi….know when to just “stay down”
The Packers offense should have produced more points against Cincinnati. Unfortunately the Packers offense is pretty average right now. Too bad the Packers don’t have an offense like the Cowboys, a team that averages 34 points per game, tied for most points in the NFL. If only the Packers had a decent coach like the Cowboys have.
Kellen Moore?
Ferris, just because I don’t have Aaron Rodgers name tattooed on my lower back like you doesn’t make me any less a Packer fan. Or perhaps it’s a likeness of PF4L you have as your tramp stamp? Either would be equally hideous, but I’m not here to judge. WE will find out if this team is a contender or a pretender in the coming weeks. With games against Arizona and the Rams, probably the top two seeds in the NFC. Along with Kansas City, Baltimore and Cleveland in the AFC. The fact that we struggled to put up 25 points in 5 quarters against Cincinnati gives me reason to pause. With the likes of the Cardinals, Chiefs and Rams, all high powered offenses, on deck. Especially with no health CB’s. And it’s looking like Alexander is done for the season. But if you ladies want to think it’s all rainbows and butterflies and “combined opponents records” then live the dream. Just don’t be surprised if that dream turns into a nightmare.
Pardon the interruption…..
.
Tommi will be back momentarily to bitch about everything Rodgers, being his normal miserable self.
.
SKOL
The difference PF4L is I have a higher standard here than you. While you think it’s perfectly fine eking out wins against Cincinnati and San Francisco. The SB is the real prize for most of us. And right now, I’m not seeing a SB team. I see a better more balanced team in Dallas with Mike McCarthy than I do with Matt LaFleur’s team. And it all starts with Aaron Rodgers. Granted, the Cowboys have been healthier. But Zac Prescott is throwing the ball to ALL his receivers and not just his buddies. How happy do you think Big Mike is that he doesn’t have to deal with the little drama queen anymore? Forget about the Bucs or the Rams, I don’t see this team beating the Cowboys right now. Things can obviously change. We’ve been down this road so many times only to be disappointed come playoff time. Skepticism is warranted. But you and Ferris put your head in the sand and pretend everything is just fine. Oh, and saying,”there was never any doubt we’d win” isn’t sarcasm. That’s just stupidity. And it’s what we’ve come to expect from you.
Yes…You surely display a high standard.
.
“WE’VE” all witnessed your high standard, which explains all the respect that comes your way.
.
“I see a better more balanced team in Dallas with Mike McCarthy than I do with Matt LaFleur’s team. And it all starts with Aaron Rodgers.” – Princess
.
Call me silly, but i always thought it starts with the O line, but…yea, what do i know. I’m just stupid :)
It’s what “WE’VE” come to expect from me :)
(Do you speak for the others here all of a sudden?…Did you anoint yourself their leader?)…lol
.
What you see is….
You see a more balanced team with Jerry Jones hand picked Kellen Moore running the offense in Dallas. If you think McCarthy is calling the shots in Dallas on offense…good luck to you.
Do you think McCarthy brought in Moore?
Do you think it was McCarthy’s idea to let Kellen Moore call the plays?
Maybe…..you’re even more clueless than “WE’VE” come to expect from you.
.
Just for fun….who has a better O line and more weapons on offense these first 5 weeks, Dallas or Green Bay?
Riddle me that Scooter.

There was never a doubt!! …:)
.
Take a pill and lighten up you miserable bastard.
Then Aaron Rodgers needs Kellen Moore. I’m sure Rodgers will do absolutely every thing Kellen Moore says. Maybe Kellen Moore could get tinker bell to actually hit MVS on a deep route. It’s starts with the OL? Ok, the OL has played fine. But I thought it all started with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. Aren’t they the best of the best? So your saying Cee Dee Lamb is better than Davante Adams? Zak Prescott better than Aaron Rodgers? Got it. We can only hope Jordan Love is as good as Zak Prescott.
Take a pill and lighten up you miserable bastard.
PF4L, sorry I’m not replying directly to your comment. For some reason your comment does not show up on this device?? Your comment does show up on phone, but I can’t type worth a shit on the phone.

When the Packers signed Smith I looked at some of the information on Smith. I believe the main reason Smith was released and Dallas took on Smith’s 2021 salary is to protect Dallas from potentially taking on Smith’s 2022 salary. It is my understanding if Smith was injured this year and could not play next year Dallas would have to pay about 9 mil. plus to Smith next year. It was a bad contract and Smith was not worth the salary Dallas could take on. That is the reason Dallas could not trade Smith. No teams wanted to take on the contract. Smith was not in the future plans for Dallas with the other linebackers on the roster.
.
I wrote on this site before the 2019 Packer/Dallas game that the Packers should run right at the Cowboys front 7 because they were weak in the front 7 against the run. Smith was part of that front 7 and I still feel that Smith can be bullied by offensive linemen in the run game. The defensive line needs to keep linemen off Smith or Smith is out of the play. I also think Smith has struggled with the defensive system and linebacker position coach changes made in Dallas over the last 2 years.
Yes!!…
.
You are correct.
I forgot all about that.
The talking heads were discussing that injury guarantee right after the Cowboys released him.
They also spoke to and showed video of some of his negative plays, how he slowed up, had trouble getting off blocks, etc.
.
We may still see improvement with him on board.
It will be interesting to see if he displaces Barnes as starter sooner or later.
*********************
It would also be interesting to hear your views about Z Smith.
He doesn’t practice most of camp. finally participates in (LP) no contact.
Then plays…shows absolutely no sign of injury.
Then goes in for back surgery and goes on IR
Funny to me if surgery was (anticipated as a possible reality awhile back), why they didn’t chose that route well before the season.
We obviously know he’s not happy with his contract.
PLUS….he might have felt the Packers screwed him over in his contract restructure for the salary cap.
.
It looks like he gave up 7.3 million in salary this season which got deferred to next season in a restructure bonus.. BUT…they didn’t guarantee it and the Packers could cut him and leave him high and dry.
That seems like another reason why he’s pissed.
Some might think he opted for surgery as a way to end his season….i don’t know if i’m on board with that, but who knows.
.
What i do know…is there is definitely drama between Smith and the Packers besides the injury. I wonder if the injury is just “collateral” or (affect) of the real problem.
.
At the end of the day…everyone loses….
Smith is bitter, unproductive, and feels he had 7 million stolen from him by his employer (and he may be right).
.
The Packers only got 2 years of production for 55 million
The Packers front office loses because….it’s what they do.
.
Packer fans lose….because we’re Packer fans under the leadership of Mark Murphy
.
BROKEN
.
The skeptic in me thought the back issue in the off season program was a statement from Z indicating displeasure with his contract and contract restructure. Once the back surgery took place it became clear that Z injured his back in some way during the off season and away from the Packer facility. You don’t have a surgery unless something is wrong, as there are to many potential issues that can escalate from surgery, including but not limited to infections.
.
The Packers put Z on the NFI list and that may have also irritated Z. There has been several players and the NFLPA making statements about the NFI rules, but they agreed to the rules. I think it was a mistake for the Packers to take Z. off the NFI if he was injured in the off season and away from the Packers facility. Z obviously injured his back enough in the off season for the injury to escalate with very little playing time from a rest situation to a surgery.
.
I could be wrong, but I do believe Z is guaranteed to receive the 7.3 restructure bonus for next year. Spotrac shows that the restructure bonus would be a dead cap hit to the Packers next year if Z was released next season. If Z does not receive the 7.3 million until next year then I could see Z being pissed. I could swear I saw something that the Packers took care of that concern. I don’t know how without it further complicating problems with this years cap.
.
I’m positive there is some financial problems, and maybe trust issues between the Packer FO and Z’s camp. I don’t know to what extent or if they can be worked out. I want to see if Z is remaining involved with the team. I see he makes some positive tweets after games. The one main thing I’m still looking for is will Z travel with the team on a road game and be on the sidelines during games. I have not seen that yet. Maybe this week against the Bears? I would also like for a reporter to ask if Z is rehabbing at the Packers facility or is he rehabbing away from the Packers. I think It will be a telling sign.
It just raises questions….you would think surgery was an option long ago right?
.
Why play him in the Steelers game without a full practice?
Most teams won’t do that.
I thought the Packers coaches and medical staff always played on the side of caution?
.
How did he play so hard and fast against the Steelers and it didn’t seem like he got hurt in the game, then all of a sudden he needs back surgery.
.
Was he worth playing and risking further back injury?
Is that why he needed surgery?
.
My point….if his injury could be hampered by playing (which i guess it was)….why was he even playing in that game.
.
Something isn’t right about this.
I understand why you ladies love ZaDarius Smith. He’s all about sacks. And those are the kind of stats that give you a hard on. The fact remains that we’re now 4-0 without him and our run defense has improved. So his loss isn’t that critical. Not with Rashan Gary. His injury doesn’t hurt as much as the Jaire Alexander injury. Where, how, and when he hurt his back is inconsequential. When he’s released, he’ll be 30 yrs old coming off back surgery. Most teams will want no part of that. Although PF4L will tell you he’ll be a hot trading commodity. To suggest that this is all some evil plan by Smith because he didn’t make captain or because the Packers won’t extent his contract is ludicrous.
No…we don’t need those guys. You keep reminding us….We’re 6-0 without Adams…we’re 4-0 without Z Smith…
.
Pffttt…We clearly don’t need these guys…right Nancy?
Why does Gute pay them so much?
.
Plus we got Rashan Gary to replace Z Smith. So Smiths loss is, as you put it…not that critical.
Don’t need him, not with Rashan Gary, right Princess?
.
It’s a wonder why Gute would spend so much money on a free agent player who……doesn’t even have any trade value?
That sounds almost as dumb…..as you sound most of the time..
.
Tommi….Entertain the others and tell them more about how Aaron Rodgers is going to save this years SB win…for his new team….lol

“The last thing he wants is to win a SB before he goes. He wants to save those for his new team. Pittsburgh.” – Tommi

Announcement: Don’t forget to pick up Tommi’s new book… “Logical Thinking….for Dummies”.
The goal PF4L is to win games and ultimately win championships. Stats are for losers. It doesn’t matter much if ZaDarius Smith gets 3 sacks if we lose the game. You don’t sign FA to trade them. You sign them to play. Jaylen Smith was released by the Cowboys. His contact prohibited a trade. Just as ZaDarius Smith’s contract will prohibit at trade and he will be released in the offseason. Shailene Woodley is Aaron Rodgers beard. Both Olivia Munn and Kevin Lanflisi have outed Aaron Rodgers. Not that it matters that he’s gay. It doesn’t.
Gee…what other viking fan used to accuse Aaron Rodgers of having a beard?
***********************
Yes…Z. Smith compared to Rashan Gary….on the field?…not much drop off….isn’t that right Princess?…..lol
Princess, i don’t understand how you even watch Packer games…How do you get Packer games over the air in Minn?

“Not that it matters that he’s gay. It doesn’t.” – Princess
.
Then, if it doesn’t matter…..why even bring it up?
I know it terrifies you to think of your hero as gay. You can either ignore the facts or come to terms with it. And we all know which way you’ll go on this one. I must be a Viking fan because I don’t buy any of the bullshit that comes out of your mouth. Sure, because no one has everything all figured out like the wise and sage PF4L. Let me explain this to you once again. We were able to over come the ZaDarius Smith injury because we had Rashan Gary. The David Bahktari injury because we had Elgton Jenkins. Corey Linsley was replaced by Josh Myers. While Brian Bulaga was replaced by Billy Turner. We could win games with Jordan Love. It’s called draft and develop. It’s what the good teams do. What makes the Jaire Alexander different is this. He’s a top five corner and they don’t grow on trees. And more importantly Brian Gutekunst missed on Josh Jackson which means there’s no one on the roster who can come close to replace him. Gutekunst knew this and wanted to sign Kyle Fuller but he needed help from his diva QB who was more interest in trying to get out of town. Now we’re left signing practice squad guys. Good luck with that.
Why would Rodgers being gay affect me at all?
.
You accuse me and others in here of being gay, all the time
But then you say there is nothing wrong with being gay.
But you use it in a derogatory manner?
.
Do you even have a clue of the shit that drips out of your mouth?
WTF is wrong with you?

Talk about something you know about.

Tell us how Rodgers won’t win a Super Bowl…because he wants to save it for his new team.
How does that work?….Tommi

We have overcome missing these players because we’ve played the 0-6 Detroit Lions, the 3-3 Bears, the 2-3 Steelers, the 2-3 49ers. Translation for the mentally challenged….no winning teams.
.
We squeaked by one winning team thanks to Cobb, Rodgers, and Crosby in OT.
Remember?…37 seconds, no time outs..who ya gonna call?

In what world is Rashan Gary filling in for Z Smith?
Gary has 1.5 sacks…0FF’s…0 int
That means he’s on pace for 4 1/2 sacks, 0 FF’s and no interceptions.
Do those sound anywhere close to Z Smith numbers?
*****************
I know Gomer…i know….stats..have no place in football, right?
.
Yes, Jenkins is filling in for Bakhtiari, who gave up a sack today,
.
Yes, Meyers replaced Linsley…which would mean something if he could stay on the field. But lets not pretend there is no drop off in talent between Linsley and Meyers…i mean, don’t be a total fool.
.
Yes, Billy Turner is our right tackle, who also gave up a sack today.
Bulaga has been gone for a year and a half, but, maybe you didn’t know any better.

“We could win games with Jordan Love.” – Tommi Logic

Ohhh, has Jordan Love proved he’s a winning NFL QB already?
I must have missed that….lol

What do you base that off of Tommi?…..Your years of NFL talent evaluation?
Or…..Loves pre-season experience?
.
Was it his 122 yards with 1 TD against the Texans, or his fumble?

Maybe it was his 149 yards against the Bills, 0 TD’s with 1 interception.

Not exactly against NFL, real game competition.
