R-E-L-A-X. Aaron is in camp. No members of the management team have been fired. Concessions have been made but nobody really knows what that means, yet.
The summer of hand wringing is over for Packer fans. With it Rodgers seems to have a new influence in a potential trade. The pundit sites are falling all over themselves stating Randall Cobb is coming back to the Packers. Small caveat, Cobb is still signed as a Texan. How do you spell tampering? Oh, who cares, the Patriots cut corners for years and Tampa Bay didn’t put Brady on the injured list for his knee. Finally the Packers are playing just a little bit dirty, and on the first day of training camp it just feels like a small dirty pleasure. Like an ice cold beer at 4:30 PM when you are still technically on the clock. Let’s just relax and enjoy the good even if it tip toes over a line of an NFL rule.
If this rumor is true, one thing will be clear to the players in uniform, Rodgers can save you your job. Of course the edge on the other side of that sword is that he can also get you sent….packing. Yes, I used the worst Packer pun for a reason. This has the chance to be unifying for a team, but it also has the potential to make players feel sick and powerless. A pun can make some laugh, but potentially can make more moan and shake their head. The 2021 season will see where this new power that Rodgers possesses begins, ends and how it affects team unity. On day one of training camp, the only thing we can do is happily chant, “Go Pack Go!”
Well put Paul! This season has a chance of being a real success, or; it could all blow up in dramatic fashion. All I can figure out is the pressure is going to get magnified on both the team and management. If things go awry, when will the finger pointing start; and by whom? Hope this doesn’t happen, and LaFleur will need to guard against it happening. What I mean about pressure being magnified is; the media is going to be ever present; (more than normal), no matter which way the season ends up going. I’m hoping for the best,,,,,,GPG
I came across some interesting medical commentary: “The most insidious of diseases enters the body displaying friendly pretense. Each cell thinks they are buddies, thereby granting the time for the disease to study the host’s vulnerabilities until it can attain its goal of attacking a vital organ. Nobody can really say why, it’s just what they do.” This, of course, has nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers. ;)
“Packers’ first-round pick Eric Stokes got his welcome-to-the-NFL moment. During a red zone period on Friday, he stuck with receiver Davante Adams on a fade route, (blanketed him in coverage and jumped at just the right instant. “)
.
Things never said about Kevin King.
.
This of course has nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers, or anyone’s Mom
Again…still problems posting.
.
Is it just me or is it a site problem since they added the “like” feature.
.
I’ll ask again, can the site at least acknowledge if there is a problem?
Too much to ask?
I’m having the same issue.
