Yesterday, after a month of voting from fans, front office personnel, and players themselves, the 2020 Pro Bowl selections have been announced with QB Aaron Rodgers and T David Bakhtiari on the list.
This is nothing new for Packers Aaron Rodgers, as he has been selected in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018. Brett Favre and Forrest Gregg are both tied at nine for the most selections by a Green Bay player. With one more selection for Rodgers, it will become a three-way tie.
On the other hand, this is David Bakhtiari’s first Pro Bowl selection(although he was named a first alternate in 2016). In fact, he received the highest vote total among fans for OL in the NFC. He is a part of a Packers offensive line that has mostly been one of their strong points this season.
K Mason Crosby and OL Za’Darius Smith were named as first alternates.
Here is a list of other alternates named from the Packers:
WR Davante Adams
CB Jaire Alexander
S Adrian Amos
DL Kenny Clark
RB Aaron Jones
C Corey Linsley
OL Preston Smith
FB Danny Vitale
