Aaron Rodgers understands public relations and is riding his superstar status straight to HBO. Per Aaron Nagler, the best of all time will have the chance to appear in one of his favorite shows:
Aaron Rodgers is going to be in Game of Thrones. Enjoy.

Apparently Rodgers is a pretty big fan of the show:
24 hour rule still applies folks, for all those who thought there were better things to do tonight than watch @GameOfThrones #iwaswatching #4moreepisodes #episode5shouldbegood #

Full disclosure: I do not watch the show but I do get the appeal. Dragons and incest – trust me, I get it. Using his celebrity status to boost his own brand while taking part in his favorite television show is not too bad of a move.
As of this writing, I am not aware of any official confirmation from the producers of Game of Thrones or Home Box Office. This clip seems to be a closest thing to a confirmation from Rodgers:
Rodgers has participated in GoT promos in the past:

Dragons and incest, lol. That’s the gist I get out of it.
Maybe this won’t be Rodgers’ last time dealing with HBO.
Lots of nudity. The onion actually had a hilarious article just before this last season started
