Winston Moss Says Aaron Rodgers Is Coach Of Packers

Former Green Bay Packers associate head coach Winston Moss appeared on Fox on Sunday to talk about the team’s situation.

Moss was fired shortly after Joe Philbin took over as interim coach. The timing was curious considering Moss sent out a tweet seemingly criticizing the organization and Aaron Rodgers. Essentially, it suggested Rodgers needed to be held accountable, which would also suggest that he wasn’t.

Moss is obviously fairly salty, which is nothing new. However, he “joked” that Rodgers actually runs the team on Sunday.

“Aaron Rodgers has been the head coach of the Packers for the last nine years.” Moss said and then added, “I’m just joking.”

Joking or not, Moss has now twice suggested he has an issue with Rodgers.

As far as the tweet, Moss said it was directed at fans rather than the organization. That doesn’t make much sense.

Moss is making the media rounds right now, which also doesn’t seem like a great idea if you want another coaching job.

Whatever hopes he had in landing a head coaching position is pretty much fucked in how he’s handled himself since training camp. Looking back at old interviews, it’s not like he was the most effective communicator to begin with (which was probably was a factor in him being passed over), but he hasn’t handled the resentment well at all.

Starting with that press conference during training camp (which ended up being his last), to his tweet, and now going on the media circuit to gossip in-part about your former employer. He’s shut the door on any opportunity (if there was any remaining) to land an HC job somewhere. You can feel the resentment seething inside him and he wears it on his sleeve.

So, lets leave out the part of the tweet where Moss said everyone in the organization needed to be held accountable, gotchya.

So we have a guy who gets paid by the Packers, represents the Packers, then gets in front of the media and the cameras, and just acts like a total dick. Did McCarthy hold him accountable? Now this tool goes on talks shows and he thinks he’s a comedian?

    What an asshole.

    Winston,

Those are your own feet. But if you want to put them squarely in your gun-sights and fire away at them, have at it.
