Trevor Davis Wins Halloween With Super Mario Bros.

Remember when Trevor Davis got to Green Bay? Dude didn’t even know he needed a coat. Well, he looks like he’s settled in just fine.

Trevor Davis won Halloween on Tuesday. He dressed up in a full Yoshi costume and his kids were Mario and Luigi.

Looks like a lot of work went into these costumes. Now, let’s get Davis back off injured reserve so the Packers have a capable return man. Old man Tramon Williams is no good at returning punts anymore. At this point, we have no idea who the Packers are expecting to return kickoffs.

Trevor Davis is good at both.

Ok, it’s true, T Willy isn’t effective as a punt returner.

But PFF ranked him the 9th best corner in the league last year with a stunning stat line of 41 tackles, 2 picks, and 12 PD (WOW). Compensation paid from the Browns for that high level was $1,975,000. Just shy of 2 mill.

Now compare T Willys stats this year so far….http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/5432/tramon-williams…. 5.225 million is being given to him from the ultra shrewd negotiating skills of Russ Ball. To save you some time, if you look at T Willy’s stat line, after his tackles, his whole stat line is full of nothing but 0’s. A little bit worse than Perry and Daniels stat line.

I’m not dumping on T Willy for making bank, more power to ya and i’m not trying to hammer on him (it just happens). But why…..someone please tell me why Russ Ball still negotiates contracts? Hasn’t his boss seen enough bad contracts written by him? That’s his one main job, and he fails miserably at it. Does he even have a boss? Is this the guy who almost was promoted to GM, courtesy of Mark Murphy? That was until McCarthy stepped in and we should probably thank him for doing so. If anyone wants to have Russ Ball’s back, i’d love to hear about it.

Russ Ball is a train wreck of bad contracts. Dysfunction breeds dysfunction.
