I honestly didn’t know who Mike Francesa was until a couple years ago. For those of you who still don’t know — and not that I blame you. Francesa was half of the wildly-popular Mike and the Mad Dog radio show on New York’s WFAN.
These guys were giving hot takes before hot takes were a thing.
Francesa now has his own show. From time to time, he shows total ignorance on said show. And not even Skip Bayless total ignorance. Bayless at least tries to back up his shitty arguments with actual facts. And we all know those shitty arguments are simply based on ratings, tweets and potential outrage caused. Francesa sometimes doesn’t know any facts. Although his hot takes are still the hottest takes in the business, surely.
As evidence, watch this.
Mike Francesa informs a caller that Aaron Rodgers is having a bad year, with 8 TD passes and 7 interceptions going into last night's game. It's an excellent point, other than the fact that Aaron Rodgers went into last night's game with 10 TD passes and one interception. pic.twitter.com/4MjYpbHSdn

Aaron Rodgers came into that game with eight TDs and seven picks?
Yeah, has Rodgers ever come into a game with numbers like that?
No.
But do you know who has? Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles.
That was his line through five games.
Rodgers now has 12 touchdowns and a single interception.
Bortles has nine touchdowns and eight picks.
In the world of hot takers, there isn’t much more of a dipshit than Mike Francesa.
I live in the New York Metro area and I used to listen to Mike and the Mad Dog and they can be taken only in small bites. Francesa’s arrogance is so over the top that I haven’t listened to him in years. If he says it, it is not worth listening to.
Hence why I did not watch the provided clip. Don’t know who this guy is, don’t care. Clearly, he’s an idiot and a half.
