Randall Cobb is back. Geronimo Allison is back. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is a future stud. While we agree with that third point, we shouldn’t forget about Equanimeous St. Brown.
He’s not Valdes-Scantling, who seems to be the true deep threat Aaron Rodgers has always needed.
But we can say this. It was his only catch against the 49ers. It was also the most impressive catch of the game.

That was an amazing catch. A perfect catch, in fact.
The Packers wouldn’t have beat the 49ers in regulation without it.
To hear St. Brown tell it, it wasn’t even a thought.
“I wasn’t thinking he was going to throw it, but you just have to be ready,” St. Brown said. “With Aaron out there, you never know where he’s going to put it. He could put it anywhere, so you always have to be ready. I made the play when it came my way.”
Let’s be honest. The Packers are locked into Davante Adams. The Packers are going to let Randall Cobb walk after the season. That makes, perhaps, Adams and Geronimo Allison the team’s No. 1 and 2 receivers. Unless someone else steps up.
St. Brown has shown his worth. So has Valdes-Scantling, two guys the Packers drafted just this year.
So, who might you move forward with?
