Cornerback Davon House has most definitely not played well for the Green Bay Packers this year.
On Tuesday, the Packers ended his season by placing him on injured reserve. The official story is that House has a shoulder injury. It will require surgery and he has been dealing with it all season.
Let’s go to that palooka Demovsky for word.
Davon House has been dealing with a shoulder injury all season, a source said, and now it sounds like he's going on IR as @RapSheet reported.

Not uncoincidentally, the Packers had three cornerbacks in for workouts on Tuesday.
Bashaud Breeland, formerly with Washington, is the biggest name in the bunch. He was a free agent this past offseason and initially signed a big-money deal with Carolina. The Packers had interest in him during free agency, but his deal with the Panthers was quickly voided because of a failed physical.
Word on the street is Breeland might still not be fully healthy and it’s a pretty dumbass injury. He cut his foot while on vacation and it got infected. Fix yourself, pal.
David Amerson, last of the Oakland Raiders, is the second-biggest name. He had 53 tackles and four picks for the Raiders in 2015. He had 64 and two in 2016. Amerson was released by the Raiders in February of this year. Then he was released by the Chiefs on September 1. Not a great trajectory.
The other guy is Arrion Springs. This kid played his college ball at Oregon. He was an undrafted free agent who originally signed with the Chiefs. They had him on their practice squad before releasing him in September. By all accounts, Springs played well during the preseason.
But here’s the thing: Springs was told by those around him not to play defense because of leg issues he’d had since birth (pigeon-toed feet, bowlegged).
That’s from NFL.com, his pre-draft profile.
Hell, if the kid belongs in the league, then let’s get him in the league. My old man was bow-legged. He could still run!
On the other hand, I still don’t understand why the Packers don’t just bring Herb Waters back. He was good enough to make the roster a month ago. Why is he not good enough to make the roster now when you need a damn cornerback?
Or Lenzy Pipkins? He was cut by the Colts after you traded him there for a mediocre linebacker.
Confounding this situation, is no one knows what the hell is going on with Kevin King (made of glass, ™). He has a shoulder, other shoulder, groin injury. Who the hell knows when he is going to be back or how long he can stay on the field.
Unfortunately, injury or no, the Packers aren’t losing much by losing House. PFF grade on the year: 28.8. Not even Quinten Rollins got that low, last year.
We signed Breeland!
I’m cautiously optimistic, that could be huge.
I dont think the time to panic about the packers is now. Yeah, they arent playing well. They could easily be 0-3. They have time to turn it around. The Patriots are 1-2 and have probably looked nearly as bad as the Packers. The Vikings just got their brakes beat off by the fucking Bills.
And there is this

I read that Griffin story early. Fucking wow.
I wonder how much impact (if any) that had on their blowout loss to the Bills.
I really hope he gets the treatment/help he needs….
Roid Rage
Just upset and confused about those new rules on how to take down a QB. He just expressed himself a bit differently, that’s all.
