The Green Bay Chamber of Commerce held their annual Welcome Back Luncheon at Lambeau Field today. And as usual, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers looked ridiculous.
Much like the luncheon itself, Rodgers showing up looking like a fool has become an annual occurrence.

This is not the first time Rodgers has gone with the cowboy look. In fact, he’s done that three times previously. Let’s not forget Rodgers and Matt Flynn in matching denim, head to toe. Another year he and John Kuhn were Maverick and Goose from Top Gun. Last year, he and Brett Hundley dressed as the Men In Black. I know there was a year he came in overly patriot gear, including an American flag headband, as well. I just can’t seem to find it.
Oh, yeah. It also looks like Rodgers was upstairs talking over his fat new deal with Russ Ball immediately prior to the event.
We just saw Rodgers walking with Russ Ball at the Packers welcome back luncheon. GM Brian Gutekunst said Ball handled the contract on Green Bay’s side of things https://t.co/A6Jx6wfXO7

There’s sad news here, however. Rodgers’ cronies are all gone.
He and Kuhn used to come to this event looking like clowns in tandem. Matt Flynn also played the role. Hundley seemed to take over that job, but he was traded to the Seahawks earlier in the day.
On the bright side, Rodgers can now afford all the cowboy hats and bolo ties he wants.
And finally, here’s some background on the look from Rodgers himself.
