Gotta protect that pretty face.
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews took a line drive to the face during the team’s annual charity softball game earlier this summer.
We imagine something like this happened after the incident.
You broke my nose, man!
Okay, probably not, but any chance to reference Harlem Knights is one that I will take.
Matthews did suffer a broken nose, which required surgery. Although Matthews looks fine, it appears he will not be taking any chances with his surgically repaired nose.
He’s going to wear a visor this year.
#Packers OLB Clay Matthews says he expects to wear a visor with his facemask throughout the season to protect his surgically repaired nose. He said nose feels good, but they'll protect it next several months following rhinoplasty.

If nothing else, Matthews will look more badass than usual.
The big question is, reflective visor or just black? Personally, I would go with reflective so when Matthews smashes someone the dude can see himself about to get smashed in the reflection.
So, he had surgery to fix the nose, but he’s getting or got a nose job?
Is this guy a NFL linebacker, or a GQ model?
Ray Nitschke is turning over in his grave.
