You can file this under things that will never happen. Receiver Terrell Owens, who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2010, wants to come back and seemingly would love to play for the Green Bay Packers.
Owens is 44 years old and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame earlier this year.
Despite that, Owens has been lobbying for some team to pick him up. He was recently on Colin Cowherd’s show talking about wanting to play again.
Then he posted this video of him running a 4.4 40.

And here’s Owens suggesting he would like to play for the Packers.
Still can happen. https://t.co/xrhQNug6Dh

Like I said, this is never going to happen. Why would the Packers pick up a 44-year-old Terrell Owens when Dez Bryant is still sitting out there?
They wouldn’t.
It’s extremely doubtful they’d even pick up Bryant.
The Packers appear to be content with what they have at receiver, where they will rely on a trio of rookies to some degree.
Both of the guys I just mentioned are or were also considered bad locker room guys. That’s something the Packers are known to steer clear of.
Crazy things happen in the NFL, but Terrell Owens playing for the Packers will not be one of them.
I’ll give TO credit for this… a 44 year old dude running an (unofficial) 4.4 is still impressive as fuck. If there’s one thing that he’s always excelled in over his career and his life, it’s maintaining peak physical fitness.
Bring him in for a workout. Doesn’t cost anything. I like this idea lot more than Dez Bryant because Terrell Owens will cost less.
