Gotta chuckle at Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels sometimes.
The dude is full-go all the time. In the game, in practice and even when he’s giving an interview.
Daniels spoke to Jim Rome on Thursday and talked about how he indoctrinated running backs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams into the NFL game as rookies.
Daniels would put a little hit on them as they were walking back to the huddle… in practice.
“During practice, it’s dog eat dog out there,” Daniels said. “If you can’t fight with your brothers, how are you going to go against a guy you don’t like? That’s my mentality, especially with rookies. I know they had to get welcomed to the NFL. I wanted to make sure I welcomed them before any other defensive tackle in this league can.
“I’m going to make sure I’m the worst thing you ever face. So when you go out there and you play against another defense, you’re saying ‘these guys aren’t worse what I go against in practice.'”
Here’s the full interview with Daniels.
