The Green Bay Packers charity softball game is happening today. We presume this is what used to be the Jordy Nelson charity softball game. However, the actual interesting thing here is linebacker Clay Matthews took a line drive to the face.
Matthews was pitching to offensive lineman Lucas Patrick and… look out!

That must have hurt.
Matthews walked off immediately covering his face and hadn’t returned to the field as of the time of this post. We doubt he does return to the field.

After the incident, a screen was put in front of the pitcher’s mound.

Matthews is apparently fine, but the game was paused temporarily. It was resumed.
