We knew Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was going to crack the NFL Network’s top 100 players, top 10.
This despite missing most of the 2017 season.
You, I and the wall would probably say he should be No. 1, but we also knew that wasn’t going to happen. Rodgers came in at No. 10.
That’s a four-spot drop from last year.
The best part of this highlight package to me is Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels.
“He was very well on his way to having another MVP season. Don’t debate me on that, because it will get very heated.”
And he says it with a straight face.
Not going to debate Mike Daniels. He is a large human and he’s probably right.

One has to wonder if Rodgers will fully recover from a broken collar bone in his throwing shoulder. He certainly didn’t look like he had recovered in his last game against the Panthers before the Packers shut him down again.
That’s because the coaching staff rushed him back because they, and Aaron, knew they didn’t have a snowballs chance in hell with Brett Hundley. Once again, the Packers season rests on the heroics of #12, even when he has a broken collarbone. Too bad that QB Guru the Packers have can’t turn out anyone worthy of being a back up QB.
