Personally, having watched both of them play quite a bit, I like UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen more than I like USC quarterback Sam Darnold. They both may turn out to be great pros, but Rosen is polished and can make all the throws. He’s almost effortless, like a guy we all know. Darnold still makes some dumb throws.
I still believe Darnold is going to go No. 1 to Cleveland. And if they instead pick Josh Allen from Wyoming, I still think Darnold will come off the board prior to Rosen.
Some teams don’t seem to like the fact that Rosen is supposedly cocky and worldly, i.e. has other interests than football.
You know who has other interests besides football? Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
In fact, Rodgers is an executive producer of this Destination Dallas series, which profiles a bunch of draft prospects.
So here he is with Rosen, who seems to have a personality very similar to QB1. I’m not John Dorsey, but if I were, I’d take this guy at No. 1. Hell, he just got tutelage from the best in the game.
How has @UCLAFootball QB @josh3rosen been preparing for the 2018 @NFLDraft?
He spent a little time with @Packers QB @AaronRodgers12 👀 (by @lincolnmotorco) https://t.co/ek6G0htCiW

Rosen would be a great understudy for Rodgers. Could very well be our future HOF QB?
Whoa whoa easy slick.
It will be interesting to see how much pull Scot McCloughan has with the Browns. McCloughan has said since early in the 2017 college season that he believes Baker Mayfield was hands down the best QB in the draft. Dorsey may have other ideas about the best QB.
If i had to guess Howard, i would say it isn’t much. He’s a consultant, who gathers info and gives opinions. i think Dorsey does his own thinking, gathers info and makes his own decisions. i think McCloughan can’t find an inside position with a team, he’s had 3rd and 4th chances. i think the NFL looks at him as a talented evaluator, but they just don’t want the rest of the baggage.
Again, my guess.
Supposedly Rosen doesn’t want to play for the Browns according to PFT. Would consider returning back to UCLA for a final rather than play for the Browns, and then re-enter the draft next year
