Cornerback Tramon Williams officially signed with the Green Bay Packers on Friday and he did it in style.

Williams showed up in a green suit with a yellow pocket square.

Do you think this dude is happy to be back with the Packers? I would say so. Williams spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Packers. He then signed with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent. Williams spent two seasons there before being released. Last year, he played for the Arizona Cardinals.

Williams also has to be pretty happy about his contract. It is reportedly for two years and $10 million. The devil is in the details, of course. It will be interesting to see how the deal is structured.

Even at 35, Williams should be a boost to the Packers’ depleted secondary. He was the ninth-ranked cornerback in the league in 2017, according to Pro Football Focus.

2 years and $10 million? Good lord they must be desperate

And the Vikings gave 86 million to Cousin. Who isn’t even a top 25 quarterback in this league.

Well now you have my attention Mr. Vance. Could you please educate us on the top 25 QB’s who are better than Cousins?

Better yet BOB….Forget that, in the interest of lessening everyone’s brain damage, lets just cut to the chase of my reply if you had answered….

        You can’t fix stupid.

I’d wear a green suit also if i was getting a 300% raise from last season as a 35 year old corner whose (gulp) lost a step. But i digress, maybe he hasn’t lost a step, i heard that only happens to wide receivers.

I’d also be saying “To God be the Glory. And i’d be grinning like a mofo…….

    Only in America.

But Nelson gets offered 1.1 million? F U Green Bay.

This is Russ Ball, I’m thinking no less than 6 million year one.

This is more concrete proof, that Jordy got fucked, because Ted and maybe (Gute) can’t draft. And Murphy let it continue and continue. In time, the bill comes due and there is a cost to pay for that failure. Just ask Jordy.

Because someone has to pay for those mistakes…..Jordy, (paid in full) ..Rodgers, your next buddy…according to some Packer fans, take one for the team!!!

Meanwhile….Ball gets a raise, Gute gets a raise, and Ted’s sipping kool aid and eating apple sauce ….for his usual millions.

Someone the other day posted they almost want to say, fuck this team. I’m getting close.

Right? Tramon gets two years $10 million when they could have offered him the same contract as the Cardinals and he probably would have taken it. Especially with GB and Pettine in the mix. But Jordy gets a slap in the face offer of $1.1 mil? Meanwhile, they’re bringing in receivers from free agency? WTF?? Watch the Packers pick up Jordan Matthews and give him more money than they offered Jordy. Forget the 10 years worth of chemistry Nelson has with Rodgers. I’m starting to really resent this front office.

Yea, i laugh…but it’s kind of a pissed off laugh.

The Chemistry Rodgers and Nelson had, has produced a lot of OH MY GOD catches, a lot of first downs, and a hell of a lot of td’s. And that never ended until Rodgers couldn’t play. The point being….is you can’t go out into free agency and buy chemistry like that, it doesn’t exist. And if you are the Packers, Rodgers/Nelson isn’t worth 4 million? But Cobb is worth 10 million?

I was so happy when Ted was removed, i patiently waited years for that. Then Murphy opened his mouth the next day. Now it’s Murphy turn to go, it’s a ugly dysfunctional cycle.

How pathetic of a life do you have where you go on packer websites and troll the comment section? You are a loser. And yes, 25 quarterbacks in this league are better than Cousins. Keenum is a better quarterback

    • Avatar for PF4L PF4L says:

Ok Bobby…..i’ll play. But first, lets correct some false statements you’ve made. I don’t go to Packer websites, i go to one Packer website. I write football content 98% of the time. 2% i call out stupid comments. That doesn’t make me a loser, maybe a dick, but meh…it’s the internet. Cousins deal is for 84 million, but why let the facts get in your way amirite?

So back to your issue. Keenum had one decent season. That is called an anomaly. It’s not proof of being better than Cousins. Listing all the reasons why Cousins is better is a waste of time and an insult to common sense.

But, lets play in your fantasy world for a moment, i’m going to generously give you Keenum. Go ahead and list the 24 other QB’s who are better than Cousins.

      Good luck.

Try google Robert, maybe that will help.

Lol Bob Vance. I hate the Vikings with all my heart, especially the lonely boy that seeks attention here, which we give him because he would probably shoot up a mall otherwise. Kirk Cousins is easily top 10.

I have a feeling Mr Vance won’t be paying us another visit.

    2 year 10 mill? Ouch … Maybe 1 year 3.5 mill

I’m surprised to read TW was the #9 ranked CB in the league last year. Pretty impressive stat for a guy his age. If he approaches that level this year this signing is not a bad move at all.

Yea, me also…..If TW is ranked #9 with the Packers this season, i’ll buy the Lonely boy a $250 gift certificate to Fleet Farm, so he can buy a new wardrobe.
