Letroy Guion is In More Trouble

Surprise! Former Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion is in trouble again.

A warrant was issued for his arrest in Hawaii. As you probably guessed, the issue stems from his DUI arrest last June.

Guion was scheduled to appear in court on March 5, but didn’t show up. When that happened his bond was revoked and the warrant was issued.

Good going, bro!

Guion was initially arrested on June 21, which also happens to be his birthday. Shortly thereafter, he was released by the Green Bay Packers.

This, of course, wasn’t Guion’s first time running afoul of the law. Prior to the DUI, he also had a marijuana incident.

Guion played three years with the Packers, making 35 starts. His best season with the Packers was his first, when he started 16 games, put up 32 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

Cop: “Letroy, we got you with an lb., a gun and $200K.”
LG: “It’s for my personal use.”
Cop: “Where’d all this cash come from?”
    LG: “That’s my NFL salary.”
Cop: “Charge him with Gross Stupidity, too.”

He should have had a Jameis Winston drivers license, all would have been forgivin. The cops would have apologized for pulling him over and he could have gone on his way.

Does he have a rap sheet? Give him a break. Not many guys have an offseason job. He’s industrious.

As far as Guion, word has it, he was just going through the motions in camp acting like he didn’t give a fuck, and that’s why they cut him. Seems Guion expecting good things this season, is like vikings players expecting to get into the Super Bowl, neither was going to happen.

A warrant issued for his arrest,….in Hawaii. That means he can likely ride this out for a long time to come. Like Mueller indicting Russians. Big whoop.

Really, a criminal traffic warrant in Hawaii won’t get you extradited from Florida, where Letroy peddles his wares, and some weed. It probably won’t even be an issue in California because it ain’t like they’ll put a hold on you there and fly you back for a day in court. Not at his small potatoes level. They may be just glad a warrant is hanging over his head so he’ll stay out of Hawaii, for good.
