We’ll always love Jordy Nelson and he will always love us.
Nelson quickly signed with the Oakland Raiders after being released by the Green Bay Packers last week. He said he was somewhat shocked by the move and we later found out the Packers low-balled Nelson in trying to get him back on a restructured deal.
Nelson obviously has no ill will toward Packers fans, however. He posted this message on Twitter Friday thanking fans for his time in Green Bay.
Packers Fans, my family and I would like to say THANK YOU for your support over the last 10 yrs. We have been blessed to call Green Bay our home and WI will always be a part of our lives. We have many great memories and it’s the people we will miss the most. Until next time…… pic.twitter.com/JnLnkEPspH

Do you know what’s interesting about this? Nelson obviously isn’t thanking the Packers. Just the fans.
It would appear the way things went down with Nelson’s release has left a little bitterness. I’m sure that will pass with time and Nelson will eventually be brought back into the fold. However, on the surface it appears Nelson wasn’t treated with much respect when he was shown the door.
Thank you Jordy. It was brother Cobb that should have been released. It wasn’t your fault. Gute will regret this for the rest of his career.
We will see
THANK YOU Jordy, for being a stand up guy on and off the field. It’s a shame that things went down how they did. A true Packer person getting treated like a lowly Lion. Interesting how he didn’t mention thanking the Packers. Maybe that’s just how he wrote it, but there’s probably more to it. Between this and the Highsmith comments something really smells rotten at 1265.
I seen an article saying that Jordy plans to continue hosting his charity softball game. Good to hear.
Thank you so much Jordy. One of my favorite Packers.
