Everybody wants the Green Bay Packers to sign somebody.
The team undoubtedly needs a better option at tight end, where 2017’s Martellus Bennett experiment was nothing short of a debacle. The only guys on the roster are Lance Kendricks, who underwhelmed in 2017, and former undrafted free agent Emanuel Byrd.
So how about Jimmy Graham?
Graham will be a free agent and the Seattle Seahawks aren’t expected to re-sign him. There’s a billboard in Milwaukee pushing for the Packers to do just that.
What says you @TheJimmyGraham? I wouldn’t mind seeing @AaronRodgers12 throw you a few TD passes for the @packers. Saw this billboard around milwaukee the past few days. @WISN12News pic.twitter.com/NbcbW1OT6y

Graham has had some nice seasons, including two with more than 1,000 yards. Both of those came when he was with the Saints, however. Graham’s 2017 season was his least productive since his rookie year. He caught 57 balls for 520 yards (9.1 average). He did have 10 touchdowns, however.
The year before, Graham went for 65, 923 and six.
Graham will be 32 during the 2018 season, so you have to wonder what he has left. You’ll also have to wonder what he’ll cost. Graham made $10 million last year.
Again, it’s obvious the Packers have to clear some salary in order to make any sort of splashy signing. That’s really what they should have been working on the past couple weeks.
