The Milwaukee Brewers made a hell of splash last week when they traded for Miami Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich (and then signed former Kansas City Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain). And as a lifelong and long-suffering Milwaukee Brewers fan I can say, hell fucking yeah!
Sign Yu Darvish and let’s roll!
But that’s beside the point here. Yelich appears to work out at the same place Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, tackle David Bakhtiari and, on occasion, quarterback Aaron Rodgers work out at — Proactive Sports Performance in Westlake Village, California, which is just north of Los Angeles.

I love that there’s no comment, just an emoticon of cheese.
Also, see if you can spot Henry Rollins in the background.
Just kidding. Probably not Henry Rollins.
One thing I do wonder about the trade, however, is this. How come the Brewers had to give up top prospects, including their No. 1 overall prospect, for Yelich? Meanwhile, the Marlins dumped Giancarlo Stanton on the Yankees for a couple of sacks of shit. Is that the Jeets’ hometown discount?
Thanks for the memories (and all that ass). Here’s the best slugger in the game. Just throw me a middle-of-the-road second baseman and some other guy.
