They say they’re playing to win the game, but what else are they going to say. Let’s play for a better draft pick! Indirectly, it appears that’s what the Green Bay Packers will be doing when they face the Detroit Lions, this week.
The Packers have ruled out six players already. Four are starters: Davante Adams, Jahri Evans, Aaron Jones, Jordy Nelson, Nick Perry and Richard Rodgers.
Considering Geronimo Allison has also been iffy this week, the Packers could be down to Randall Cobb, Trevor Davis, Michael Clark and Jeff Janis at receiver this weekend. And of course, Brett Hundley will get the start at quarterback.
This is more or less the Packers’ junior varsity squad that we’ll see this weekend.
Tough to score less than zero hundley
Yeah, let’s roll over (like Ted likes to do) and get the better draft pick. God knows the cadaver will turn it into another impact playing machine.
The Packers “starters” have been playing like a JV squad – they nearly got beat by the Browns.
Has any team ever been shut out thrice in a season ?
