Look at the Green Bay Packers making moves! The team has signed offensive lineman Dillon Day off the Denver Broncos’ practice squad.
Impressive! This move will certainly save the season!
Oh, wait… the season is already in the toilet. Never mind.
Day has had an interesting NFL ride. He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State by the Denver Broncos in 2015. He spent his time on the Broncos practice squad before being brought up to their active roster in October. He was cut shortly thereafter and claimed by the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts released Day in November and he ended up back on the Broncos’ practice squad.
And now, he’ll get a shot on the Packers’ active roster.
Day was a four-year starter at center in college. He reportedly can also play guard.
Maybe most notably, the kid has some hair. Lots of it.
Might as well start taking a look at every long-hair out there. The Packers have nothing to play for anymore.
