Casey Hayward Tells Micah Hyde Fuck the Packers

Mordecai Jones by Mordecai Jones

The Green Bay Packers have no Pro Bowlers, even though they deserve at least one in left tackle David Bakhtiari, who is or is close to the best left tackle in the league.

Two guys the Packers let walk will be there though. Two defensive backs, which was the team’s worst position in 2017, in fact.

Those guys are Casey Hayward, who the Packers didn’t even offer a contract to in 2016, and safety Micah Hyde, which the same happened to this year.

The Packers didn’t have room for Hayward, with Damarious Randall, Quinten Rollins, etc., etc. But he went to San Diego and has developed into one of the best corners in the league. And he’s done it as an outside guy, which we and the Packers didn’t think was possible.

Hyde went to Buffalo and they let him play safety. That’s something the Packers never would have let him do, despite diminishing returns from Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Hyde has flourished in his role in Buffalo.

Hyde has five picks. Hayward has four. The Packers’ leader is Damarious Randall with four. Clinton-Dix has three.

We made the case that Hyde should have replaced Clinton-Dix earlier in the season, but that was never going to happen, regardless of talent. The Packers stick by their draft picks — especially first-rounders — without fail. Because why would they want to be wrong?

At any rate…

Super happy for my brother @micah_hyde I'm proud of you bro. I guess we will be teammates once again lol. I'm glad you get to show your true skills with the Bills. love you bro.

Lets not question Mordecai’s Journalistic ethics, he’s a Professional.

Yep, no one said Fuck the Packers, but they did say the Packers defensive system is holding back players from showing their true ability. I have believed for a long time Capers should go. I did think Whitt and Perry were doing a good job. I have changed my opinion of both over the last couple of years. To me they are screwing with the DBs heads. I hope to hell Capers goes and most of his staff goes with him. If they promote from within it will be a huge mistake. This defense needs an infusion of new blood from top to bottom, it has gone stale and cold.

If nothing else we will see how many players may show up better on the field when they are allowed to be aggressive football players rather than students of the game the way Capers and co. sees it. Capers showed on national TV how he coaches and play calls. A big yawn during a defensive series. That doesn’t mean TT doesn’t need to go also. There are many reasons. One being not forcing his play caller/head coach to fire Capers and co.

Scarily enough, what I think will happen is Capers will “retire” and they will promote from within. It sucks because supposedly Vic Fangio is on his way out in Chicago, but supposedly wants to go back to the west coast.

Fangio did great work in SF and has done wonders in Chicago considering — like making a tasty cake out of sawdust.

I will be astounded if Capers is not out at years end. Only blackmail evidence can save him. Did he audio the PED instructions?

Kato, i don’t think Capers would retire, i’d think he’d make them terminate him. Quitting is basically admitting defeat, or that he’s at fault.

Capers isn’t the biggest problem on this team, he’s one of them and McCarthy isn’t blameless either. If Ted is drafting and orchestrating this roster, i don’t give a fuck whose running the defense, this team will fail under Ted.

This time Mordecai is right on the money especially with Hyde. Both of these guys should be still on the Packers. he is absolutely right about this ridiculous draft order thing. Both Hayward and Hyde are/were better than the first rounders but god for bid if Capers/McCarthy play them over others! Look what they`ve done since!

Definitely hard to fathom having someone in your system for four years and not knowing their skillset/potential. Makes you wonder which young guys on the team will be the next ones to go elsewhere and realize their potential

Yea, no shit. Hard to see Garoppolo pick up the 49ers offense in 2 weeks, then spin off 3 wins. But Hundley’s ONLY been in our system for 3 years, he just needs some more time, LMFAO…The only thing funnier than Hundley thinking he can be a starter in this league, is fans who agree with him.

Where do all these new usernames come from? I’d believe they are new expect for 2 things. A) I’m not stupid. B) They talk like they’ve always been here.

I’m guessing some are the writers. Some are just known “douchebags” and the others are just weak.

    Just sayin,
