It’ll Be Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays for Packers

The Green Bay Packers will be without their top two running backs when they face the Baltimore Ravens. Aaron Jones will be out with a knee injury and we now know Ty Montgomery will be sidelined with a rib injury.

That will leave the Packers with just rookies Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays.

Williams has carried 31 times for 101 yards and a touchdown on the season. Twenty of those carries and 67 of the yards came last week against the Bears. Overall, that’s just a 3.3-yard average, which is less than stellar. However, Williams did run hard against Chicago.

He’ll need to be the go-to guy this week.

Mays, on the other hand, hasn’t touched the ball once.

Perhaps the best thing the Packers will have going for them is Baltimore’s run defense. The Ravens are currently ranked 28th against the run. They’re giving up an average of 125.9 yards per game.
