That’s right. The main man for the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers, is doing stuff once again.
Rodgers took some snaps for the first time since breaking his collarbone, during practice on Wednesday.
What does that mean?
QB1 was not throwing to receivers. He was not practicing. He just did all of this on the side with a trainer.
Right after Brett Hundley’s big win, AR has to the upstage him, right?
However, if Hundley can keep the Packers in the playoff picture, then we’d bet Rodgers is coming back this year.
He has said that he won’t come back if he isn’t fully healthy, but it certainly is starting to feel like that is coming.
Hundley had his best game thus far on Sunday, throwing for 212 yards and a touchdown against the Bears. Personally, I expect him to continue to get better, so long as Mike McCarthy’s game plan allows him to work.
If that is the case, the Packers have some winnable games ahead of them. And that could set it up for a late-season Aaron Rodgers return that would be real interesting.
At this point, we know there’s one guy that elevates the team. Can he elevate them to the ultimate end? He has before. It would be one hell of a narrative if he came off an injury of this nature and did it again.
