Ty Montgomery Likely Out Against Dallas

Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery suggested he could play with broken ribs against the Dallas Cowboys. It now appears he won’t.

Montgomery has been listed as doubtful on the Packers’ Friday injury report. The Packers will have rookie running back Jamaal Williams — who hurt his knee against the Bears — back on the field. He’ll most likely get the start with fellow rookie Aaron Jones getting some of the carries.

Jones got his first touches of the season against Chicago and went for 49 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.

The rest of the injury report looks pretty much as you’d expect. Both of the tackles — David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga — are listed as questionable. Getting the same designation are linebacker Ahmad Brooks, cornerbacks Davon House and Quinten Rollins, receiver Davante Adams and defensive lineman Mike Daniels.

Daniels claims he’ll be playing. Adams will have to clear concussion protocol on Saturday.

Linebacker Joe Thomas is out with an ankle injury.
