Two guys who can’t seem to get on the field for the Green Bay Packers will actually be on the field for the Green Bay Packers this week.
I’m talking about the offensive line. Specifically, the tackle position.
Both David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga have been removed from the injury report and are a go for Sunday.
Bakhtairi missed four games with a hamstring injury. He started last week against Minnesota before removing himself from the game.
Bulaga, well… who cares? Not only is this guy made out of glass, but it doesn’t matter whether he is or is not on the field. At any rate, he will presumably actually be on the field for a while this week. At least until he gets injured again.
Bulaga has cleared concussion protocol. How does an offensive lineman get a concussion?
Ask Bryan Bulaga. He might be the only lineman in history to have one.
The news isn’t all great, though.
Guard Lane Taylor, as expected, likely won’t play. Taylor is doubtful with an ankle injury. And suddenly, center Corey Linsley has shown up as questionable with a back injury.
Of the remainders on the injury list, the only notable is safety Morgan Burnett, who has been ruled out for a second straight week. So expect a heavy dose of Kentrell Brice because apparently, the Packers don’t like Josh Jones anymore.
