I mean, that’s funny, right? Green Bay Packers cornerback Damarious Randall was benched and then sent to the locker room for being a pouty dick during the Packers’ win over the Chicago Bears last week.
Pretty much an unprecedented move in the NFL.
However, Randall now says he’s grown up.
First, there was this.
“A lot of y’all was explaining, wasn’t you? It was an internal matter, and everything is handled.”
Then there was this.
“Just kind of growing up. Just being a little bit more professional.”
And finally, there was this.
“I mean, a lot of you all wrote about it like you all know everything. I mean, obviously you all must know everything so I should be asking you all what happened.”
So the fact of the matter is Damarious Randall is not a professional, based on that comment alone. He’s a punk motherfucker who isn’t going to be playing in the NFL much longer. And go ahead and curse me for my language, but I am correct.
What really sucks is the Green Bay Packers wasted a first-round draft pick on him.
The question we’ve been asking is if Randall will be in the lineup when the Packers face the Cowboys? Randall — along with another corner the Packers wasted a draft pick on, Quinten Rollins — should both be on the bench against Dallas, in our opinion.
I’d reiterate that the Packers should never have released LaDarius Gunter, but that’s done. It will maybe prove to be the dumbest move that anyone has made in the 2017 season — because now you can’t release Randall. It’s just another case of Ted Thompson holding onto guys he drafted because maybe eventually he’ll be proven right. Didn’t happen with A.J. Hawk, won’t happen with Damarious Randall.
Give me Kevin King and Josh Hawkins. I’ll even take Davon House, if he’s healthy.
Love King’s attitude because he wants to be the man. Love Hawkins’ enthusiasm because he wants to be out there. Love House’s professionalism.
Deep cornerback group? Once again, not the case. Once again, might just doom the Packers.
