The Green Bay Packers have bitten the proverbial bullet and placed quarterback Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve.
Rodgers had surgery on his broken collarbone on Thursday. It’s unknown if he’ll be able to play again this season. Of course, the Packers hope he can.
Demovsky tells us the Packers think he could possibly return as soon as week 15.
That’s still considered a long shot. Personally, I would like to see Brett Hundley get the Packers in the playoffs and then see Rodgers pull a Willis Reed.
Guess what?
You’re screwed!
Of course, the Willis Reed comeback is so legendary that people don’t know he really didn’t do crap in that game. He scored a whole four points, but they say his presence was enough to inspire the team to victory.
Great.
If you want legendary, let’s talk about AR strolling on the field for a playoff game, throwing for 300 and three touches. Then Willis Reed becomes an unknown entity to generations because Willis Reed is Aaron Rodgers, only someone who actually performs.
I’m getting way ahead of myself, of course. And so are the Packers.
If Rodgers is able to return this year, the only way he’s going to do so is if Brett Hundley wins some games.
